I'll be honest, I was more familiar with your art but didn't even know you made videos, but I completely understand being burnt out on Sonic. I'm not excited for the future and I don't like how my suspicions of things being bad end up being true (or that some twitter people always see this as entitled nitpicking and never being happy) but I think it's entirely valid to want to broaden ones horizons with interests, and I'm looking forward to seeing you talk about whatever you want on this channel! (Also, shame for no Ryuki mention but it is my favorite so I get it, I'm just very happy to see more people talk about Kamen Rider in general! I hope you enjoy that Fuuto PI anime when it drops as well)
I gotta say man, the later part of the video of you discussing your thoughts on upcoming projects from different ips was a breath fresh air. You bring so much new and interesting insight that was more interesting to hear than what was said about origins and frontiers for the upteenth time. Good on you man! Also, that is cool your getting into classic anime. Especially Project A-Ko which is a perfect example of a light story playing in good service of cool spectacle and visuals. If you like that stuff, I highly recommend the Megazone 23 trilogy which contains all the best aesthetic perks of the decade with well animated spectacle and I surprisingly gripping story for the first two films. Also, check out the Darkstalkers OVA if you like the Street Fighter 2 anime & Sonic OVA. You don’t need any preconceived knowledge of Darkstalkers going in to this OVA.

sonic runners reloaded has been back! two fan projects have been made for it runners revival is a fan server that well, revives the original, and runners reloaded is a new fangame entirely that is not only forces aesthetic inspired but has a ton more new content and a dedicated dev team random but that wasnt fadel slander i saw? 👁️👁️
also to add onto this, sonic frontiers being on the cover of gameinformer is bigger than you let on its been 30 years since sonic even appeared on the cover, i think its commendable and we should be proud the franchise accomplished that after so long not to mention its art done by evan stanley and she does an amazing job
Dude...I fucking LOVE DMC5. Like you, it's the game that got me interested in this series as a whole. Fucking love the characters, the combat is wacky, hell-EVERYTHING about that game is wacky and I love it for that. (wish we had a sonic game with this kind of style, polish and pacing, but anywho) You bet your ASS I'm getting those Klonoa and Pac-Man games. Klonoa was given to me by a friend a long time ago, but I lost it and never finished it, but now I'll FINALLY get to play it fully! I never really cared for Pac-Man World 1, but I might have a fun time with it. Besides, it could also be the stepping stone to namco finally remaking Pac-Man Worlds 2&3 and THAT'S where the good stuff is at. I miss 3D platformers so badly and I'd love for them to show Sonic how it's ACTUALLY done and hopefully SEGA can learn a thing or two from it. Also I am hype as HELL for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. I missed that little hairball of rage and I think they're gonna do him justice, since they've had a great track record so far. Insomniac so far, hasn't missed and I cannot WAIT for whatever they have planned for these awesome characters. I'm not a huge anime guy, but I'd be lying if I said I've never considered watching Evangelion, since my best friend wouldn't shut up about it lol And Promare looks so cool! Reminds me of Rise of the TMNT with how flashy it is (which is something you should totally check out btw it's on netflix), so I am gonna have to watch that sometime. Man, talking about other stuff IS fun! I'm glad you're gonna be talking about other stuff that you like. More power to you man :)))
Unfortunately, I had a gut feeling that Origins was gonna have issues after it was first announced. The deluxe edition BS, and not having screen size and the life system be separate options was a red flag for me. It's a shame those collections turned out the way they did, but I guess I at least have Sonic 3 A.I.R. still. I have no feelings about Sonic Prime yet, since we barely seen anything from it. I like Sonic's VA, but Big sounds really weird, and the animation looks cheap, so I don't have the highest hopes for it, but I'd love to be proven wrong. As for Frontiers; I still have no idea what to think about it yet. I feel like that's a game I'll have to play for myself to know if I really enjoy it or not. I will say that I like the way the combat looks. It seems to really be taking Sonic's speed as a base and running with it. I also really like the idea of that Cyloop ability. In other news the Halo Master Chief Collection is getting some cut content restored thanks to 343 working with community modders. We're getting everything from cut vehicles, enemies, wildlife, weapons, armor, multiplayer maps, and even cut single player missions, like Halo 2's Alphamoon level. We're even getting the Halo 2 E3 2003 demo level ported over to the collection, which is insanely cool. The Destroy all Humans 2 remake is looking fantastic, just like the remake of the first game was, and I'm super excited to play the full game. The demo they released a while ago featured the entire first area of the game, and it was a blast to play. The cult classic original Xbox game, Phantom Dust, has actually been getting a lot of traction lately. Not only has it's online servers been getting populated again, but the game's creator, Yukio Futatsugi, has stated in a recent interview that he would like to create a sequel to the game, and has tons of plans and ideas for it. Finally, in a Discord server I'm in, we watch cool action shows every Sunday. We just finished Ultraman Tiga, and after the next show, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, we're gonna do the 3 big western animes of the 90s; Outlaw Star, Trigun, and Cowboy Bebop. I've yet to see Trigun, and my best friend has yet to see Bebop, so that'll be a fun collection of shows to watch.

I would also love to hear you ramble about more non-sonic-related stuff, I have not watched a single anime nor played a single jrpg but god damn does your passion for them make them look appealing. i like the trailer of sonic frontiers because i played sonic unleashed. we don't even know the full story behind the game(they only made it sound simple but clearly its more complexed then that).

People can form their own opinions based on what they're seeing and don't have to base them off what others say. You do not need to play the game to dislike the aesthetic.
