I love Manta. I grew up in Guayaquil, but I used to spend my summers there as a teenager. Best Ceviches in Ecuador for sure!! Love the little cabañas at Playa del Murcielago!
My Beautiful wife took me to Manta on my first visit to Ecuador in the year 2000. Loved it, but it was much different from this vidio! We got there early in the morning, and after securing a motel we walked up the beach in the direction of circling gulls. This was where the small fishing boats were retuning from a nights work. for a few dollars a nice experianced lady would clean and fry your fresh fish. 6:00 a.m. the freshest fish you have ever had with an icy cold Pilsner beer! I fell in love with Ecuador!!!

Some of the risk factors that may prevent it from reaching its potential etc...Developers are always optimistic pitchman painting the rosy picture/outcome, which of course could and we hope comes true, but good to know the contra side too...Limited land/development restrictions or not? Government involvement policies are pro/con development/infrastructure population growth
