People don't realize that this is not just a delicious meal, it is also medicinal. All of those fresh herbs, veggies spices and the fish, all healthy! This is the way we should be eating.

Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for a recipe for fish tea that did not rely on/include a packet mix, and until I found your video I hadn’t been able to find one.

Chris thank you. I have been following you for years and just love your positive attitude that goes with your cooking.
Here is a challenge for you: I am fed up with seeing all those white flour bakes. How about (1) trying bakes with whole wheat flour fried and (2) making bakes with whole wheat flour baked in the oven.
If anyone can do that, it's you Chris and I am will be watching and waiting for this recipe. On your mark, get set, GO
Thanks for the fish tea soup - it's wonderful on a cold day in Washington DC. This is my go to soup for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep those recipes coming. I am a subscriber to your channel as well.

@@caribbeanpot Thank you Chris. Looking forward to seeing the results.
I knew that for the challenge to be accepted, I would have to ask the Master himself - and that is you.
      Keep up the good work

I just came across your channel, and I am so happy I did. I fell in love with Caribbean food through Jamaican friends years ago. But have yet to start doing any serious cooking myself. I guess I was too afraid I could not possibly cook anything like your fantastic dishes, coming from Norway. But thanks to your channel I am watching and learning. Thank you so much for sharing your recipies and skills!!

Wow! This look delish, growing up when my grandma made this soup she would boil the fish first for a bit then strain the fish out before adding any of the food to cook, and now that’s how I do it to make sure bones get in the food.
Thanks for the defrosting tip. Also, my dad think reheating soup in the microwave is an abomination, lol, so I never do😬

I like how, at (5:12), you casually say, "Some of the wording on the packaging a man can't pronounce, so I keep away from that", and then just keep it moving...

I usually don’t comment on your video, but this thing here Jamaican Fish Tea? Your version. I never knew celery until I went to Toronto, and even going back to Jamaica I NEVER saw any Jamaican cooking with celery. This is your idea of what Jamaican Fish Tea is. Definitely not Jamaican imagine the people chewing on the garlic.
