I just got my Wood Grain 405V a few days ago and I'm really liking it! It's a beautiful and stylish looking handheld. I don't know why so many people call it ugly, it's not ugly at all.
Just got my translation purple, Iam a very big fan of set up! This thing rocks, already making a card with a ton of games & screen captures for all games. I strongly recommend 💯
Same! It just needs a slightly stronger chip set. As tempted as I am to get this (love the retro purple and the OG Gameboy shape) I'm also waiting for the next iteration/gen of this one. I just ordered a Miyoo Mini+ and I have a Steam Deck so I'm happy to hold out until we get full GameCube and PS2.
What we need is optimized versions of the emulators, the power is there, but give them more time and the emulators are going to run 3ds, gamecube, vita and ps2 smoothly
These are finally getting to the point where I am going to have to pick one up. I Have been waiting 20 years to play GameCube and Dreamcast on a handheld. PS2, PSP, and 3DS is a bonus.
I think I’ll wait until next week when they come out with the RG406VI 🤭 All jokes aside it did look really ideal for the bits of my gaming nostalgia that I can’t otherwise reach. Kinda Fire 🔥
i actually think this is the best looking handheld on the market right now, especially the wood colored one. Maybe because i played soooooooo much on my original Gameboy back in the 90's anyway, gonna get this, thanks for the indepth review and walktrough :)
I've dealing with life over the last few days and patience is essentially non-existent at this point, so I've been playing with this rather than Starfield. I love thing.
I wish the companies that make these would realize that there are a lot of gamers out there with big hands that can't hold these very comfortably. If they made a Big Boy handheld I'd buy it.
I can't choose between this or the new arc coming out. Arc can't play anything past ps1 and has no analog sticks. But that Sega Saturn set up is top tier for fighting games/platformers. I love the six buttons. I'll never be able to make a decision that I'll be happy with.
@@markstephenson6744 lol my bad, for not reading it as a joke haha. Seriously I get so many comments that say I didnt mention something or didnt explain something thats actually in the video I am blind to when someone is pokin fun at something 😆
I want an updated RG280V. Or amotyer handheld wity the gold and red. I love my RG280V. I can play GBA and SNES problem free. Ps1 games work as well. But i prefer to play those with an analog stick. My RG280V is my go everywhere handheld. But tbh i mostly play GBA games on the go. The pacing of Pokemon is perfect. Its not like a game where if you are not tully invested you lose. Sometimes i have to pause to do other things so i cant be so entrenched into my game. RPGs are good for allowing causal on the go fun.
I couldn’t believe it even has AVGN (angry video game nerd) game in 3ds section, wonder if James knows about it ….lol…it’s a good game too…it’s got starfox and starfox 64 ,and both run awesome ….the rest of the games are just a bonus ..do a barrel roll..
For me, if I got this device, I would do so without their SD card with ROMs and instead use my own SD card and my own ROM library. I have heard the SD cards with these don't tend to last long, and they have those annoying numbers at the beginning of some of the ROMs, so they are not in alphabetical order.
Yeah, if you have your own collection ready to go thats for the best. The builds they include are always sloppy in some form or another especially with systems with hundreds of games. And they never use name brand sd cards, always some weird no name brand or a card that says GAME on it lol. If someone buys it for the roms on the SD card they sell or include its advised to back it up to put on a better card later if needed.
Im having trouble trying to play ps1 games snes games and Nintendo when i select a game i get a black screen then it says ArkOS and it says Please wait under it then it brings me back to the section where all the games are. game boy color it says nintendo then it goes to a white screen and then goes back to the games. Can you help me?
How you add/remove games into the Micro SD card? Does Windows can read it normally or you need a software for it? Or can you plug the device with the MSD card on it into a computer to do the job there?
What do you use to charge these devices? Like the miyoo, this one etc. Is there a standard for all of these? None included with any i believe, just wanna check before i charge. I know they use 5v yet the amps are different mostly
@@Tazznessa thx for your reply, curious what the charger itself would be a good one to use. Checked my Nes Classic power brick, 5v 1amp and not sure if that's ok to use 😅
As long as you use a 5v charger if thats what the specifications call for. The amps... be it 1amp, 3amp etc is not going to cause a problem. Just make sure the Voltage is not higher than required, if it says 5v but you use 9v it can and most likely will cause damage... but higher amps wont.
@@Madlittlepixel Thanks for the info MLP ✌🏼, getting my Miyoo Mini + tomorrow. First time owning one of these devices. Nice to know i won't be frying it 👍🏼
Does anyone have software for this console? The console I ordered arrived - unfortunately, damaged. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth do not work, and the direction of the pad is reversed. It cannot be set. I have searched the Internet, and according to experts, the original software is damaged. I know how to load new software, but unfortunately I can't find it anywhere. Maybe someone has it and can share it or knows where to download it? Please help.
What's the best suggested handheld emulator with full ROM lists preloaded on it for the main systems up to at least N64? If u buy these with the 256 GB card, do they have more games included or just fluff added? I honestly want one where I don't have to do anything to get it going, but can relive my childhood. Thanks for the help!
Doesn't exist. This comes with a good list of games but there's always things missing, games is languages you probably don't speak and multiples of games across different systems. It's a great platform with a good base to start from but the only way to have a perfect collection is to build it yourself.
If you don't plan on installing your own personal list of roms. The best thing to do is get the sd card add-on with the largest compacity. Just get the 256GB micro sd add-on along with your 405V purchase, or whatever other T618 handheld you decide to get.
It does look cool the shoulder buttons and joysticks.....so idk maybe another month I do actually Love the Huge Gameboy look of it 😂 considering buying one idk
SNK Vs. Capcom final build ftw. Does the NeoGeo have Super Spy and Eightman? edit: Does it have both the US and Japanese versions of it mlp? Tatsunoko vs. Capcom? Let us not forget each have some fighters the others do not.
Just put a launcher like Daijisho. Easy. Having android has a lot of perks. Something like ArcOS is going to be more "nostalgic"/simple but let's be honest android is what's always going to bring the most.
Device seems nice but the rom collection and setup seems lazy. If they are selling to US/Europe they should only provide those roms and curate the best of each system, removing the random crap.
Its always the case with these things as they dont seem to be meant to be sold with an sd card, so the resellers bundle them with junk builds that take no effort. This one isn't anywhere near as bad as other ROM setups I have seen but it is still pretty lazy and weird to cut off collections before getting to a Super Mario game lol, like what are they afraid of? They include tons of other Nintendo owned stuff on it, but scared of Mario?
I wanna get it but I'm broke. I'll have money later, by then they'll have something better. If I had the money I would. Thinking about selling my GBA SP and buying this. I have 3, might as well.
Amazing console ,great hardware but too chunky ,too big for me!definitely not portable !for a 4 inches screen the horizontal format is much better ,the rg405m is perfect .

A ps2/gamecube/Xbox player with the ability to use a USB for TV play. Then they just need a little port to add USB controls! Omg that would be so rad!
