    From all the foods I'm this video clip, Manuka honey was the most impressive this is because it looked like it would make a deep taste unlike honey in Korea. If I get to eat Manuka honey later, I will post the difference between Manuka honey and korean one,

      Are you asking about the one with the views of the sunset?
      That one is called The Boat Shed Cafe and is located in Nelson - maps.app.goo.gl/zvxvTXfztZjMGH2i7

    What fruits (besides wine grape) and vegetables are unique to New Zealand, or have a distinctive type or flavor there?

    • @didibryan
      @didibryan  Рік тому

      From our trip, we didn't find any fruits or vegetables that are unique to New Zealand 😅 a lot of the fruits are similar to elsewhere in the world

      @@didibryan They are much better at storing and shipping food now so it's not common to have unique food that can be found in only one place. For example in the US a lot of bananas and seafood are imported.
      One exception is heavier, cheaper or easily perishable food like vegetables where it doesn't make economic sense to ship between countries, and I thought that's what you might have seen in NZ.
      Another thing that cannot be exported is the experience of hiking up and running on top of a mountain 😀

    • @didibryan
      @didibryan  Рік тому

      That's definitely true. Unfortunately, we're not aware of any that are native to New Zealand and many things are imported or like you said, grown domestically, but just not unique to New Zealand.
      Yes - New Zealand's outdoors definitely cannot be exported haha

      @@didibryan Vegetables are what I usually find that are the most varied when I travel. For example Japan has many kinds of rice and tea, Korea has many kinds of potato, Taiwan has many kinds of green leafy vegetables. Thinking that rice is rice, tea is tea and potato is potato is true but it doesn’t do justice to the variations of food taste.

      Not only vegetables, but fruits as well! And for the countries you listed, there's also unique cooking styles that make things the cuisines unique too
