Damnnnn, these beauties are yours?! sounds absolutely incredible, i envy you! :D Love the color, love the beech, love the sizes and love your sound. Keep rockin man! 🤘🤝
Floor tom sounds like thunder! Just wow! By the way, I noticed this in the video with AQ1. Your floor toms always sound like they're from hell! Congrats
cool for you to notice and thank you. Tuning toms / tuning drums in general have become a huge focus of mine through the years and I would like to think that I've developed my own little approach. I always tune the largest tom (16" sometimes 18") to the lowest it I can achieve. Then tune the highest (in this case the 10") to a relatively higher pitch, then find the middle with the 13". Live, my reso head is always pitched higher (for maximum projection), in the studio is very close to batter (warm/phat resonance). Give it a try.

Holy hell this sounds good!
Nice stuff Brian!
thanks for much Dayv 😆
cympads yellow👌
That thin beech shells sound spectacular. Are they 6mm? I can listen and watch this type of videos all day long.
I think the thin SQ2 shells are 5mm. No re-rings.
