Just bought a bi turbo ranger xlt with touring pack, ceramic coating, soft tonneau for 64k driveaway. If i knew this blade was coming out I would have waited to give this a test driveway before making a purchase. Ah well at least i got a good deal on the ranger
different reasons for buying this dmax vs a non-raptor ranger. ranger - more car like, more tech, but less off road ability. dmax (or any other ute) - less refined, less tech, better off road. i wont get into reliability.
You're better off throwing your own suspension, tune, wheels and tyres. It would still be cheaper than this. I purchased a new 2023 XTerrain, put wheels and all terrains, upgraded GVM, canopy, roofrack and 270-awning, the price of that. The Blades not worth it
It feels criminal that you failed to mention the new Mitsubishi Triton. It is the direct competitor. How ever, Ranger has never been left out. Criminal I tell you.
I got a Triton GSR for 60K a month ago. 77K for this is a complete rip off. That interior is dated by at least a few years, much like the Navara. Isuzu think that they can start up their own brand tax scheme like Toyota I guess. 🙄
@@Smitty19966 Triton GSR? We have it with the name Triton Athelete in south east asia. Im loving my new triton by miles! it just feels criminal that these Aus reviewers are failing to mention it and giving the Triton the praise it deserves.
80k for almost nothing in value for return. Compared to tank 500, gwm cannon alpha and others, why would someone buy this at such an astonishing price. Don’t come with arguments that Chinese are shit. I own one and you guys can see a lot of them on the road day by day so they certainly getting traction and are acceptable
The dustiest tarted up old ute around Mutton dressed as lamb It's now up there with the Toyota's Hilux Charge like a bull ISUZU and rip-off the consumer
$7k for $4.5k worth of upgrades... yeah nope. Also still has 1990s engine and gearbox. Also this is not a review, this is a product show case in controlled conditions. Essentially advertising (reading off the spec sheet).
They done this wrong they wasting money creating the stock version then bringing it to aus to tear it up put new leather it would be cheaper if they just done it at the factory
I am pissed just paid 70K for DMAX and now they bring this out, Isuzu are a joke, they are cash grabbing and unfair on anyone that purchased a DMAX given they would have had to go spend a fortune to do these upgrades. Absolutely nothing different about it and no more power then the rest of the 3.0 litre range.
Over 12 seconds 0-100 unloaded … that’s almost dangerous pulling out on to a Hi-way for people who aren’t truck drivers! Seems like a missed opportunity and a major letdown for the rest of the work done not to have a mild tune. However, If it is true that the wheels, shocks and springs are Australian made, then due credit needs to be given to Walkinshaw supporting where possible Australian made.
@@dr.killjoy5001 @ aside from the Raptor, it’s actually the TRD supercharged Hilux that still holds that claim, with no comprise payload and being not too big and not too small … but I think we both could agree that dual cabs are not race cars, however it makes the driving experience a lot better when vehicles are under 8 seconds 0-100.
@garageblitztv3215 Yea, raptor is a bit of a different breed from normal utes, so is the supercharged Hilux. I agree, they are not race cars but good acceleration is always welcome especially when you want to overtake.
Literally looks like every other Dual cab ute that exists on the planet.
Different day, same shit!
Except a better engine
Sound like a Kia Tasman or cybertruck is more up your alley
@mayaswellbethewifesaccount7625 this may well be the reason why Kia designed the Tasman like they did.
Trying to stand out in a sea of monotony.
For that money, I’d like a tuned by Walkinshaw sticker too. No 360 camera is curious.
STOP TOUCHING THE DUST!
Agreed
I know right. Scratches!
Why stop touching the dust?
Sorry I am not aware , also how should someone clean of dust then? 😅 a dust rag is OK?
😂😂
love it mate
Sounds like there’s a few compromises for 80k
this facelift model isn't even advertised in the UK yet!

Isn’t the blade like $76k ? Not sure it’s worth the extra 12k
Sheesh and i just got a '22 musso.. xlv, lux pack.. bells whistles and a Lil more for a whopping 38K

Mate you should have paid the extra $4k & got the V6 🤦♂️
I have 2 V6s…..a Sport & an XLT 👍
$64k for a Bi turbo is wild for a ute that's going to be worth $25k in 3 years 😂
Who else got triggered when he passed his hand over the dusty car paint? 😡🤣
Got a mate that does the same thing and is also tapping his index finger nails on every ferken surface.
I was about to write the same comment, micro scratch city :)
Have they fixed the bump steer?
Looks nice. Very reliable cars.
This looks like a beast wow👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It's competing with Toyota we all know Ford gonna be parked up in a Garage before long
12:19 Did this guy seriously say Solid Axles front and rear?? What kind of BS is he talking about

When is this coming to India? Isuzu is not updating the current model since a long time.
It would be awesome if it had a manual transmission option
This looks so sick 🥹🔥
Can we get that scratched one at a discount?
You get an individual POO number, I get that!
Our Dmax have a 360 cam, 10inch screen and an around view monitor
And for $76,990 you get……rear drum brakes 🤦♂️
And no 360 deg cameras 🤯
can't park without a 360 camera hmm
Why you need 360 cameras ?
How did we ever survive back in the day

@ and then it just fell off the radar. I have mine and it’s amazing. I just don’t get it
The new Triton has Renault technology in it, no thanks
No 360 degree camera for 75k!!! No fkn way.
I wonder if we'll get something similar.
76K for a 150,000km warranty? LOL
The 4j will outlive any other Ute on the market 💯
2nd best ..
Only thing it’s missing is power and torque why would you buy it.
Not to mention rear drum brakes.
Raptor is more worth the money
The alloys look like the ones from a Ranger 2013
12:55 to 12:58.
What happened?
Solid axles front and rear? Incorrect.
Rear drums is pretty poor, it shows it’s just a gap filler until the next design

Congraturation! +100 Social Credit Score!
Gwm is only for putting on big lift and tyres then goinf to the shopping centre
With a basic green tune 538 NM to the wheels instead of 352 and 60 more hp.
BYD SHARK 6
Very interesting times, sennndddd itttttt
Chinese rubbish, when you connect it to the Internet China is watching
Looks like they slapped on wheels ams suspension and put drawings on the car and gave it a $20,000 sale price increase lol
How about ISUZU you bring a complete new vehicle to the market instead of just flogging the same old Ute you are just flogging a dead horse
Still 16mm less unlaiden clearance compared to the Nissan pro 4x Warrior
4j will out live a Warrior 4x over
That's not testing the car at all my 2 wheel dr would of made it up those little hills .car expert will give it a good test
Anyone did a word count on the use of the word ‘gnarly’ ?

Agree, I own the MUX and Dmax and the door sound is horrific, I bought it for the reliable motor
Yeah just get the x terrain youll spend less on the extras 😂😂 younget in the blade unless you really like the stickers and fenders

My 11 year old Max is still going strong, don’t need fancy add on’s, electric gimmicks, or fancy paint. 70 grand is better off going into the Mortgage
What's under the Hood though shit. Over 5 minutes in and I still don't know and that's really the main point to answer. Thumbs down.

That's why I am still eyeing the previous generation Amarok V6 diesel cause it is still the fastest normal sized ute.

Grossly overpriced as in the hilux and ranger equivalent.
Also, why are you yelling?
Research Isuzu warranty
Very bad
Body cracking etc etc
