  • The Lift Arc crew is flying to Lakeville, MN later this month to check out a BRAND NEW piece of CNC equipment at the Shop Sabre HQ. Brand new to market from the boys in blue is the TC Series Plasma tube cutter. This is going to send ripples through the tube cutting industry and we can't wait to see the live demo! Of course, it took a little convincing to get Tay on board, because, as you saw, he though the shop already had a robotic tube cutter...boy were they wrong.
    Thank you to the crew for dedicating a morning to making this video, we had a blast with it and we can't wait to take you for a trip to Shop Sabre's factory on Friday, July 26th. If you're able to travel to MN for the demo, you should! The machines are $1500 off that day if you buy one in person...i know we're thinking about it...

    Can we still go even if we're not thinking of buying one? Any opportunity to tour a facility and watch a product demo is neat

    I can tell your old "Toob Cutter" is running a Windows based OS. Looks like 95 maybe 98.......time for an update.....lol
    For what it is worth I often find some folks function just like computers, they can only operate properly after the correct information has been punched into them.....!

      @LiftArcStudios pryes brewing is a pretty cool place to go to as long as the weather is nice. Cool view of the city and can even do a walking brewery tour as well to a few from there

    And Walker just stands there and lets the very expensive toob kutter go up in flames. Very irresponsible! Luckily, Spike was there to administer the Halon fluid quickly to extinguish the 3 (almost 4) alarm blaze. You guys are so lucky to have Spike. Not so lucky with the whole Walker thing!

      @@LiftArcStudios well, from what I’ve seen here and elsewhere, it’s a really good machine with excellent service, so no complaints there. Just open that big box already. We all know the real reason for the move was so that you could put the opening further back. Sneaky!

    Just order a 3K laser with tube cutter from China at 1/3 the cost of plasma sold in the US. I'm all for enriching US companies but your business must survive.

    • @melgross
      @melgross 19 днів тому +1

      They’re still pretty expensive. You’ve got to be careful though. Often you have to arrange shipping and taking care of customs yourself. Then you have to set it up yourself, as there’s no USA representative. Then< for high power you need a nitrogen tank, possibly oxygen. A system to evacuate the dangerous fumes and one for the heat. This is pretty serious stuff.

      @@melgross I have an Oree 3kw 5x10 in my garage with a 20hp compressor. I had to buy qty2 30hp phase converters for 3ph to machine and compressor. Oree can arrange all the shipping with duties paid to your door or you can hire a freight forwarder in China to do the same. They shipped a 20ft shipping container to my property with everything paid. I have under 50K invested in all of it. It's not as complicated as it seems and they are very responsive to any service help I have needed. I import products for a living so it was easier for me to be fair.

    • @melgross
      @melgross 18 днів тому

      @@carymartz8762 it’s much easier when you import for a living as you are the person doing the hard work. It’s much more difficult for an individual who has no experience with it. But the biggest problem, assuming the person knows what they need, OS yo find a reliable vendor who will work with you. I know a coup,e if people who did order Kaiser cutters from China and didn’t get what they ordered. They never got the problem taken care of.

      @@someyoungguy6990 I wonder how many of your tools in your garage are made in China and you don't realize it. If you are rich, you can pay 5x and get that Chinese-made machine rebranded from Laguna and get that warranty.
