These are the most informative videos out right now. The part of my game I'm working the hardest at is middle and late stages of tourneys. It's hard to get experience compared to cash games. These videos help a lot! Thank you and keep making them please
Playing very well Daniel, your thought process is very important to us amateur players to listen too and learn from so thank you. Hope you continue being successful in poker this year and beyond, love from England ❤️🙏🏻
Echoing most of the comments here but your modern poker theory in action series really has been both highly entertaining and insightful. Thanks Daniel!!
Daniel this might possibly be the most educational poker content i have ever seen. Love seeing you play and that AA read was amazing 😍 Looking forward to more such videos.
i'm just coming across these vid's now, and they're great...your absolute lack of fear is inspiring...how many poker hands need to be played to get to that level? :)
What should you do if you have nuts on the turn, go all in, doesn’t matter short stack or big stack, but mostly headsup, I go all in and lose on the river even after taking a break. I mean it is also a game of skill. Would help if you could advice on the same
I was playing Saturday online Omaha, and got a straight flush, then next hand hit 4 of a kind. I won that tourney, cause like you said it's great when you're hot!
It's just incredible to me, the cards that DNegs gets. He folded AJ preflop, and then got two hands better than that in the next two circuits. If I fold AJ preflop, I've just folded the best starting hand I will get on the entire final table.
Checking AK when you flop THAT hard oop is so much better. Any had that hits the flop will bet in position, if they don't hit you give them a card to hit on the turn and stack them.
so the message of the video is get A/10 against A/J and just hit a ten. All in with A/J vs A/Q ? Just hit a Jack. Very educational... the key to being a pro player apparently is sucking out?
It's modern poker theory. Back in the day those hands would have folded or the best hand preflop would have held up. In these days of solvers and icm calculations it's all about getting it in bad and sucking out.
You can say Ethan Yau is extremely lucky, but not him. Luck can't given him so much money over such a long career of 20+ years. He is still a top player today, this year he has the second most earnings among all players, just about $4M less than Espen Jorstad, that guy won his only title of the WSOP main event for $10M!
12:25 (he makes his straight) “Unbelievable, that shit never happens to me.” -Every amateur player in world. PS. ❤️these videos, thanks Dnegs. Oh, and 17:19….
Good question and I am assuming he would have but I can’t speak for him, but if he has a blocker, especially the K of spade’s then makes it less likely the other guy hit the flush, but I’m guessing you already know this 😊
Im not sure about limping from the bb. Ft maybe but in another phase id rather raise and mix up on the flop. Playing without fold eq and relying on hitting seems not peofitable to me
In that hand where you had A10 of diamonds in the bb vs utg all in and button call(sacakewalk), if the button would have shoved all in over the top preflop would you have called? You were talking like you would have before he just called
At the end this game is all about runing hot. You can be the best student with solvers and everything you want. Play the perfect poker but if you are not running hot you will die anyway...
Of course you’ve got to win your flips so yes luck is a big part of it too but you still have to be a highly skilled player to regularly make final table’s and big cashes
There‘s one thing I don‘t understand. Why does Daniel always go half Pot with these Value Bets? Doesn‘t it make more sense to go like 33% or something? You saw it where the opponent had a jack. If he has a better hand and just calls you lose less if you bet 1/3 Pot and also he will still fold nothing. And also he‘s more likely to call with a worse hand like ace high when you bet a lit less. What am I missing here?
I get calling the short stack with A 10 suited in the BB but not after someone else calls ahead of you. Puts your worst case scenario in to a coin flip with 99 or dominated by AK/AQ or AA/KK/QQ...would someone really flat with KQ suited or worse?
If he had A K he would of just re shoved and Daniel had an ace blocker which is why he just called and ok he did have A’s this time but you can’t just assume they always have it in that spot when he had reason’s to deliberate his range. Only three combinations of As with Daniel having an ace and maybe the fact his hand was suited swayed him to call and see a flop.
@@Charlton2010 The flat call is why it should have been an easy fold. At that level of play, a flat call with action behind says "I'm so strong, I want someone else to call as well" not "I'm on a draw" like players in the $5 sit and go would play it. KK, QQ, AK, AQ, even JJ all have A 10 dominated. It was strange to see Daniel play a trap hand like that out of position again 2 opponents.
@@timchamberlain5858 yeah I agree and get what your saying but when your there and it’s your hand sometimes it’s hard to fold especially with a suited ace hand, you know yourself
I don't understand of the logic of jamming all in pre-flop with just okay hands like K10, A8 or 33. Seems too risky?? Someone please explain the reasoning
Daniel runs so good it's hard to watch, I run horrible all the time. Lose with the best hand A LOT. I always get knocked out of tournaments with the best hand.
Really enjoy these videos, Daniel. Hope to see more of this in the future!
Please make more of these Daniel! You’ve been my idle for 13 years and these specific type of videos are my favorites!!

Well played sir! Ran quite well to say the least. Enjoyed watching thank you
Echoing most of the comments here but your modern poker theory in action series really has been both highly entertaining and insightful. Thanks Daniel!!
These videos are my favorite poker videos on UA-cam. Keep them coming!!
Daniel this might possibly be the most educational poker content i have ever seen. Love seeing you play and that AA read was amazing 😍 Looking forward to more such videos.
I look forward to every video you upload. It helps alot for my game. Thank you Dnegs!!
Absolutely LOVE theses vids … learning so much just to hang with you and listen… thanks ever so much
That pocket jacks hand was really informative and interesting. You won the max on that hand and I absolutely would not have.
Daniel, this is brilliant!
In my opinion this is the best format for learning the game.
Thanks Daniel! This is gold! Please produce more content like this! Thank you!
20:35 one of the sickest calls I’ve seen in a while
It’s incredibly standard given the action
Thanks DNegs for all the information you give to us
ALWAYS look forward to your vids DNegs!! Appreciate you man
I also love these videos! I find them very educational and entertaining.
Thank you for making these videos Dnegs. They are awesome
Like the chair flip against Helmuth. Good TV.
The goat never stops entertaining
DNEGS!!!! You’re my guy your videos are great. I love watching you think the game just so awesome
That's a poker gaming chair. Nice!
I love watching you play your the best
Looking for part 4. I was watching them in order after each video.
i'm just coming across these vid's now, and they're great...your absolute lack of fear is inspiring...how many poker hands need to be played to get to that level? :)
Great call with the A8!!!
You got pretty lucky on that AT all in against AJ and then again with AJ against AQ
Don’t you think he already knows that, literally everyone knows that so not sure why you felt the need to point out the obvious 🤔🤦♂️
Absolutely amazing series.
Love how you talk to yourself in 3rd person
I was value cutting perfectly , drawing dead , but I hit a full house 😢
Letsgo Daniel you got this! Can’t wait for part 4!

I need part 4 soon man please!!!
Good poker so far Daniel, keep up the good work 👍
Great content as always!
I was playing Saturday online Omaha, and got a straight flush, then next hand hit 4 of a kind. I won that tourney, cause like you said it's great when you're hot!
Yeah but your $1 buy in tourney is not the same as Daniels $600+ buy ins 😂😊
New sub love the content! Keep it comin keep it comin.
great video, keep it up!
I love this stuff...very engaging...

a really good play, with 44 a little too tight for me but hey,You are The pro;)
checking that straight was so dirty

Been waiting all fucking week for this dnegs
What do you think aboot the Freedom Convoy, my DNegga?
2:41 OoopsMyBad has a fitting username.
So pro’s are just extremely lucky
Too lucky if you ask me
Luck is definitely a large part of poker but his strategy increases his probability of winning on a given hand.

Moron statement
You have to look at the time they are playing
love you dan, thanks for the video
When winning you treat your crisps like TeddyKGB his biscuits.
Another Great and extremely helpful video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waited for this!
Can't wait for next part
where the broadcast takes place?
Love it, thanks for the content
Amazing content
When you had the straight with KJ of hearts vs set of queens, would you have check raised the river if you had the J or K of spades?
Good question and I am assuming he would have but I can’t speak for him, but if he has a blocker, especially the K of spade’s then makes it less likely the other guy hit the flush, but I’m guessing you already know this 😊
@@Charlton2010 I think so too.. I just was hoping he would give his input on it
Waiting for last video !!

Odds of him replying is the same as getting runner runner.
Hey bro, I’m Canadian too and have been watching you since 2010. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to play a hand with you sometime
Running hot... or site set for you? ON line random ?
amazing video!
8:42 what is he doing calling 😂
Why haven't you streamed lately, there no tournaments to play??

hell yeah I'm back into poker.

Where should i play poker for money in online?
Modern poker theory: " if he woulda went all in a I would have called, well no I wouldnt have" "well idk"
👍 thx for Content ^ 👍
Bro that mafia accent at 4:40 was fuckin hilarious
where are you streaming dude
How do you not make a straight with a J and an 8 ? LoL !! I quote your words!
Your luck is incredible
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Daniel "Such is Life" Negreanu.
Modern poker theory is to blind shove with mediocre holdings and outdraw several times when you're dominated?
yeah otherwise u bleed out. or if u just raise then u catch 3 ppl and its harder to win the hand.
Upload them faster please!!! 😁😁😁
Just as a joke: Daniel do you support your fellow Canadians who are part of the Freedom Convoy?
Anybody else notice he cuts out the gameplay where he loses huge
can someone please tell me what ICM means
