I tried all the sticks and I like the super tacks significantly more, the ft3 pro and trigger 4 pro shaft keep on twisting in my hands and greatly reducing the power and accuracy, I couldn't take much if any quality shots with them, I bought an AS1 when it was on sale and I have only used it twice and I must say I love it. I came from a Bauer Supreme 1 something (do not buy any supreme stick unless its the ultrasonic IMO, they flex throughout the entire shaft and completely ruin the shot, it takes a lot of skill to use) then the tacks 9080, then most recently the super tacks 9280. The AS1 is amazing, it releases with little to no effort compared to my 9280, the power is a little bit better and accuracy is amazing like it feels so much better, weight is slightly lighter but so much more balanced and slap shots sound like a lightning strike and come over super easily and are super easy to get off the ground. Some insight, I am a centre who likes to shoot up close and at mid distances, I am a do it all player, I am a good playmaker and two war forward, and I love taking shots from the left circle (I'm right-handed) and love taking one-timers. Also forgot to say stickhandling is by far the best on tacks sticks and it complements me greatly as stickhandling and deking is most likely my best attribute. I love making room for myself and cockin my shot back and spending time getting it on net, I must say though, I like to lean into my slapshot, if you are someone who holds their hand lower down the shaft on the clapper and is very mobile, like doesn't lean into it much for accuracy purposes, a ribcor stick will likely benefit you a lot there. Everyone is different and I very much encourage you to try out these sticks before you buy them, It is an absolute necessity, and you could be exactly like me and like jetspeed sticks so go out and try them!

I do recommend going into your local hockey shop and try the different sticks out! Each player is different and so if you like the feel of the trigger then it'll probably be your best bet! But it never hurts to have more than one stick. Trigger designed to be a quick release while JetSpeed is designed to be an much more accurate stick! Hope this helps!!
14 year old son loves CCM FT2 and FT3 sticks but loosing faith in them. He has broke a FT2 pro mid shaft on a slap shot so we got the new FT3 pro, 65# flex. This past weekend on a one-timer he snapped the FT3 mid shaft. Looking for a better CCM stick but this is the best one they have at 279.00 a pop. 🤔 His snap shot is his go to shot but he has a killer slap shot when opportunity arises. Defenseman, any ideas?
Interesting! Where did it break at and how? Some sticks are more durable then others even when they are the same stick, you must've gotten a faulty one. Were you able to get a warranty on it?
@@-arre- That's good that you'll be getting a replacement! Yeah sometimes some slashes over time break the stick down slowly. Hopefully this time, the stick holds up much more better!
