Thank you Chris for this comprehensive tutorial. I use a lot the Perfect brush and experience has taught me that using the brush in Out mode on the unmasked area is a very effective way to fine tune the mask.
That is awesome! my goal is to help ON1 users become more familiar with the software and to show how they can use the tools available in it for their workflow.
Can I use the perfect brush to brush or paint in a different color like an artist would with a paint brush? If not does ON1 24 have a way to just paint in chosen areas? Thanks
The perfect brush can be used to do that if you use the paint option found in local adjustments. You don't need ON1 2024 to do that either. If you are using an older version of ON1, you are able to use the perfect brush to paint inside of the lines. Just keep in mind that it does work on contrast so you will need to have clear separations between each of the areas you want to paint in.
nicely explained ! Thanks
Glad you liked it! Thank you for the feedback
That was the best video I have seen on the Perfect Brush. Great job!
Thanks Rick! I really appreciate it.

That is a great point. I didn't even discuss using it to remove content from your mask. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I hardly use the perfect bush up to this point, but I will start using it more now.
