Wow, he jumped right out of the gate and took control of the podcast and got Mike talking about dogs. that’s the quickest rapport building exercise I’ve ever seen. a bit obvious, but it freaking worked
Bro I was just about to post everything you just summed up ! Do you know how much a polar bear weighs ? Enough to break the ice 🧊 Hes definitely read how to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie ! This dude is hyper Intelligent you can’t tell me he couldn’t or wouldn’t research how to train a puppy
lol, I'm certain the conversation starter was pre-agreed. It's a quid-pro-quo. Andrew draws in his crowd to the podcaster and the podcaster gets more exposure to his/her businesses. It's a business transaction
"Your senior officers are not the most capable, they are the most obedient, the most institutionalized". wish I had that one liner on my way out! 😂 #facts
I have watched so many interviews with Andrew, but this still seemed like it was the first time seeing him being interviewed. This was wild, Mike you took a completely different path from other interviewers.
I noticed that with this interview as well as the one on srs Andy doesn't put up that hard ass wall if you will. He humbles himself because this is a rare occasion where he's around men who are not just his peers, but peers who were actual on the ground war fighters. Kinda like if you had 2 marines who have been deployed to a warzone, 1 might be a staff sargent pencil pusher in admin and the other is a corporal but was infantry with multiple combat deployments & has a body count. There's a mutual respect between the 2 that regardless of rank the corporal who was kicking in doors is the Alfa.
The way that Andrew describes educating his kids at home is exactly the way that I educated my son at home right through high school. He went on to College as someone who is able to teach HIMSELF anything that he is interested in learning and has not lost his love of learning and knowledge by having it destroyed by traditional schools.
unbelievable interview - the candor you brought out of him is great. i think it’s, in part, attributable to hearing some pretty hard / harrowing things w/o treating him like a victim. cool stuff.
My late husband’s family was a large Chinese family who came here from China after WW2. My father in law told me that the family that doesn’t fight doesn’t love each other. The family could lend itself to “with friends like that who needs enemies “ but they have survived intact for millennia.
What's really cool about this interview, is that it really seems that while both Mike and Andrew have certain views and certain opinions and they don't agree with certain groups in the country, they respect what we have here in America. Kudos for that.
I LIVE by the same yoda qoute. Its not qbout Yoda, its about not giving up. When you say "i will try" that is your brain subconsciously telling you its ok to fail because you gave it your best. If you take "try" out of the equation, i personally feel like it substantially raises success rate. How can it not? Super interesting guy and show.
found your podcast via clips from this interview. looks cool. putting your logo on that shelf was good thinking because your credit survived reposting.
Know the hill you live on. Period. Stand on the hill you live. Freedom. We were told it, impressed it, doctrinized and celebrated to be…freedom. Freedom WITH virtue, that’s where it’s at. Freedom of wild masses screaming or freedom of accepting life as it is and standing against the freely wild. Where is the line of freedom drawn? The beauty of this America. Keep along to get along. Get a little too much, than a little too much could come your way. Come and get it.
hey i know its kinda impossible to get him on as a guest but i was just wondering if you ever tried to get goggins on as a guest for the podcast ? i heard him say something about no doing any more of them if he could help it on his last one with rogan but i feel like it would be good pod with him and you and it would probably be the most viewed podcast on your channel really quick. thanks have nice day.
I say that because in an entitled house, when a blackout or brown out happens, than peoples reality shine through. That reality is usually geared towards community and chilling.
Speak for yourself “spy”, PA is the best state in the world, mainly the PA big woods from central to northern PA. I left this state for four years and couldn’t wait to come back to small town PA in the heart of the Appalachian Mtns
My favorite quote is from Star Wars too! Lol “All those who gain power fear to lose it, including the Jedi.” - Senator Palpatine -aka- the emperor! I like this quote because it speaks to the problem of governments, elites, the blob, the oligarchs, including the U.S.
I think at this point I’ve watched every single podcast Andy has been on. This dude is awesome. It’s hilarious seeing all the keyboard warriors on here thinking they know more than him.
I disagree with his politics and worldview. I really don’t think I’d get along with him personally to person. Even I can’t get enough of this dude! He is a gifted storyteller and very entertaining.
I grew up always asking my dad & myself why doesn’t he love me enough to quit drinking & taking pills. I quit sports while he was in prison @ 14 & went to work. I’d go out for ball teams to prove to myself I was good enough even never practicing like others to make the teams but I couldn’t ask a single mom of 3 to fork over $ for sports when she went to work at 4am getting off at 230 & going to another job till midnight then she worked most weekends. I told myself I’d have kids & they would know I love them & I’ll do anything so they don’t do without & just know I love them.,
Mr & Mrs. Bustamante still continue to serve the people with their company everyday spy. A lot of extremely useful information I’ve learned listening to their podcasts and interviews.
Yeah, I have some counter points to a couple things said. Dark web first of all is not all illegal etc. Deep web are just areas that are not index. Most of these things are behind passwords or are not scrubbed. For example Facebook is part of the deep web. Even with hardened phones there are still pretty blaring exploits especially if they using a widely used provider for example one being SS7 exploits. I am just gunna say it, if someone or a collection of individuals want to get you, they will. I personally would love to see what technical methods they are using to "geofence" or track individuals which is legal. I know there are many loopholes. I would implore people to look into programs such as Pegasus, kinda wild and has been used to track and murder/kidnap individuals. Pegasus is not only used by governments, but also private companies. That concludes my rant for today lolol. Thanks Andrew for the talk and Mike thanks for all the hard work.
Or just be a boring user on the internet who occasionally finds good information. You can always induce imprudence in your surveillance through saturation.
FYI... Winston Churchill's Grandson is Nicholas Soames. He happens to be a lifelong BFF of King Charles III. He didn't do too bad for himself. Don't know about the smoking thing. 😆
love Andrew’s insights even though I may disagree with some of them. He is clearly not a “CIA plant”. he may give the CIA/Gov more leeway than the general public does but that is completely understandable based on his life and career. Major respect to Andrew
I love to hear him talk and watching this show. The love for a child, and the love for a spouse are different types of love. Or there would never be divorces. Some people don't realize the difference.
I can't wait to read the book! Mike, if you want to read a quick book that will open your eyes to the Nuclear Age, you might look at "Nuclear War -A Scenario" by Annie Jacobsen.
Nice speech 🎤 always loyalty very important but not for individuals who the director or boss instead Loyalty to the agency and the mission it was clear that was in the wrong place
Former... 🤔 The shirt says it all. Extreme moral flexibility. But, given his childhood... understandable. Evolved admirably in some ways. In other ways... 🤔
What does your company do: "Fixes problems, finding people that you can't find because of whatever else?" No no. What? Sounds like the most evil consultant ever.
It's becoming clear to me that every former "CIA spy", even when seemingly super-critical of the agency, is saying and portraying something beneficial to the agency. Like "I was there, the torture didn't work, I'm angry or ashamed nobody got punished but at least we don't do it anymore. Egg on our face right guys? Probably shouldn't ever worry about that silliness again!"
As a mental experiment I think it would be cool to shut down all digital stuff for a moment across the globe. See who comes together. See why they come together, and see how each turns out. Take away all influence, get to the spirit… than pull the sheet.

My boys wicked smaaat how ya like them apples
The best Andrew interview out there. Proof that the "interviewer" makes the podcast, as much as the guest. Thanks for the chat fellas.
💯😎

100% agreed!
I thought the same!

It's bc u taught them HOW to think not WHAT to think. Schools teach u what to think aka INDOCTRINATION 🧐🔥
I've watched multiple interviews of this guy and it seems like he is especially comfortable and tuned in with Mike, that was an awesome podcast
Agree! He opened up so much about his personal life.
Here we go. Keep up the good work, Mike. I love it. Great way to keep me distracted during chemo!!
Stay strong and hopefully your making progress!
Good luck with that man!

This is the BEST podcast out right now. It’s not even close. 💪🏽🤟🏽🇺🇸

Thank you for your service gentlemen. Y'all are amazing and my heroes.
Watched Andrew’s pod on SRS. Enjoyed both very much. Ty for your service and enjoy your insight!! Very interesting person.

Excellent Stuff! Thank you🙏👋✅

Great questions and nice long answers
Really thought Mike would at least let out a chuckle at the mention of a Standard Poddle. 1st time I heard those mentioned in his podcast.
Thanks mike.
