Why is everyone losing their minds over there being autotune when it was literally part of their sound?! It was NOTICEABLY on the record!
As much as I really kinda hate this song looking back, you are 100% correct. The fight against autotune in the early 2010s was really fucking dumb.
yes its more than just autotune its a voice modulator actually. not auto tune lol. definitely a cardinal staple of their sound.

Why didn't I know this would be the best point in my life? Turning 30 this year. 2009 was my junior year. I imagine anyone watching this video either found their way to the Hardcore scene or EDM scene lmao.

@@JudasPriest82 No... he's just terrible. It's also not hard to tell that they were all hungover as fuck from not only alcohol but definitely some hard drugs as well. They probably literally just rolled out of their tour bus beds in a rush and are just trying to get through the show so they can go back to bed. You can tell. The bassist even yawns at the beginning as he's walking over to his spot. Look at how they interact with each other and look at their faces. Especially the vocalist... he looks like he's still fucked up, the guitarist/singer too. He can't even figure out what pitch he's supposed to be singing. Plus they interact with each other after he fucks up near the end with a look like "we are way too fucked to be doing this right now hahahehehehe."
The drummer is the only one who looks like he was prepared for the show and didn't snort cocaine off of a groupie's ass the night before. I get it... you're in a band, wanna have fun, can pull any ass you want, and get given all kinds of fun shit to try. But when you can't handle that while on tour it makes you a piece of shit because people pay to see you and you're too fucked up to even play, let alone put on a decent show. It's bullshit to be honest. If you can't handle it then you shouldn't be doing what you're doing. A professional band is a job. Do your job first. Plenty of professionals out there that can rage all night but still do what they're supposed to when it comes time to hit the stage.
