I am so amazed by how good this kit plays and module sounds. Everything sounds just right and natural. Hats off to the engineers involved. I can't wait to see and hear what they do next.
The first note sound AMAZING it's one of the BEST jazz performances that i ever seen, like the snare off
Thank you very much Emilio! :)
The EFNote stuff is so good
My home practice kit. Had one since January. Works great with Superior Drummer 3 as well.
Is it easy enough to get superior drummer running through it?
These full sizes are awesome. Add an 18" crash and you a complete kit!
the most underrated drummer on UA-cam!

Turquoise and Last Call were my favorites.
Amazing!! That would be my dream kit. What is the difference between this module and the EF Note 5? Keep it going with this videos!!

that sound 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 amazing playing as usual 😍
Thank you very much! :)
This is one of very few non vst kits I've been impressed with. I dont get why roland and yamaha can't get it right.
I think the EFNOTE modules sound better then VST kits. I have done lots of comparisons. Some magic in these boxes.
Those companies are complacent and full of old heads. This company is young and hungry.
The symbols and hi hat is unbelievable…thats why EFnote is a winner, now Roland got a hi hat like that VH14??but for $1.500.
Adoro seus vídeos, muita técnica, musicalidade e o melhor baterias fantásticas.
Muito obrigado! :)
Great sounds and playability (very ATV-like but a bit better). My only gripe about this 7-series kit is the odd tom sizes (11" and 15"). Makes it very limiting to swap out for example, mesh heads, if you wanted a different brand and feel.
Honestly those sizes are perfect, I know they might sound odd, but a typical 10" can feel a tad small, and a 16" a tad bigger. The good thing about e-kits is that size does not matter. I have a strike pro and this is exactly how I feel with the included traditional shell sizes. The 12" rack feels huge and if you use them as floor tom it feels a bit small.
@@madebymarco try getting an 11 inch replacement head
Great playing as always! Can you do unboxing and playing efnote 5x? I really want to see you play on that drum kit. Anyway your drum skill is fire 🔥
Thank you very much! You can check out the demo of the EFNOTE5 kit over here:

As these modules can send 8 channels via USB into a computer, It would be interesting to hear how some DAW produced drums would sound like. It would show why this is a great feature. As the drum sounds are mostly very dry and unprocessed, what results with some processing would achieve.
Compression on each drum channel, some finer eq, perhaps some verb on toms and snare and over all buss compression. I bet it would sound amazing. They sound great now.
Does this sound loud like a regular drum kits if the sound is off? Or is it quiet like a electronic kit?
@@stevengrant4107 Definitely not like a regular drum kit. Mesh heads make about 10% or less than an acoustic drumkit and the cymbal pads are the same noise as tapping on a practice pad.
Wow. They really got it right. Where are these ordered from. I about to stop making my own electronic kits. Score. Good video. Thanks 👏👏👏👏
Thank you, you can find the EFNOTE7 kit over here:

amazing player
I looked at so many efnote videos, and I just cant get myself to like the sounds, it doesnt sound bad, but its like its too pristine. I much prefer the ad5, though I bet the efnote is more polished and less machinegunny. Would love to play an efnote module and see how it feels.
As great sounding as these EF Note Drums are, how do they fare compared to your own Drum Tec Pro & Diabolo Series, Ralf?
The EFNOTE kits play & trigger great out of the box, yet I still prefer the feeling of the diabolo/pro series, especially the Real Feel bass drums, which I think are the most realistic & silent bd pads I have yet played (I am not paid to say that) ;-D
I think the EFNOTE pads are comparable to the ATV aDrums feeling-wise, the bass drums are a little different though (ATV is a little more bouncy), EFNOTE also has more size options for bd/sd/toms, and also cymbals. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV : Very well explained. I trust your judgment and integrity. Thank you very much, Ralf. Best, Bruce
Man if only it would support positional sensing on the snare I’d make the switch from my td-50x to this in a heartbeat…
That would be great yes, but unfortunately positional sensing remains a Roland exclusive patent/technology. Besides I am not sure how well it would work with the EFNOTE pads trigger systems. Kind regards!
All the kits sounds great… in terms of quality what can you say next to Roland and ATV?
All components feel very well manufactured, just as ATV :) kind regards!
Hi there, I have a question related to the package, how many boxes are, the total weight in Kilos and also the length, width & height, really need this information due to import matters, appreciated in advance for the information.
Kits sound amazing. Are they available for the other Efnote modules?
Hey Randal, some of the kits are actually also on the EFNOTE5 module, but not all of them. You can find our Playing-All-Kits demos of EFNOTE 3 & 5 over here too:

Great playing as always ,
Can you please give us your feedback between the EF hi-hat and the Roland digital one ? Thanks a lot
Hey Philippe, both controllers play & trigger very nice. I think the VH-14D is pretty much the most advanced unit that you can get as an electronic hihat controller, but that also has to do with the great triggering & flexibility of the Roland modules on the other hand. The VH-14D will only work on Roland TD-27/TD-50X, while the EFNOTE will only work on EFNOTE modules. So in the end, it's not only the question which hihat controller you prefer, but also what kind of sounds & features you need for your module. Kind regards!
I just bought a used 7 module, not here yet, but I’m already missing the sample import for one hits, sound effects. Limits the overall usability….
This or an Roland VAD507? (Also considering price)
Hello, as always stunning drumming Ralph. Compared to the ad5 how did you feel the Ef note module in terms of triggering and response? Did you feel differences? Thanks.
Thank you Fabio! I think that especially the modules have improved in terms of features/flexibility and also the EFNOTE hihat plays very nice. The variety of new pad & cymbal size options is also very cool, but yes, ATV still plays great too :) Great to have all those options these days. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV At the end my doubt is it worths to go with the Ef note module bundle with the hi hat or no. I use the E-Drum for midi recording and expecially to study, so my personal need is to have a nice response and playability. Cheers!
@@fabiotomba9597 Hey Fabio, the EFNOTE stuff plays great out of the box. I haven't made any experiences with external midi triggering yet unfortunately. What pads are you using until now?
For midi recording I would generally suggest a Roland TD-27 upgrade pack (it's more expensive though):
www.drum-tec.com/roland-td-27-upgrade-pack-incl.-live-sound-edition
You can use a VH-10 with it and later on upgrade to a VH-14D if you feel the need. The Roland modules have state of the art triggering, and you'd have features like positional sensing and.
Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV I'm using Drumtec diabolo for toms and atv for snare/hi hat/ride. Roland and Lemon as crashes. Yes, Roland is the best in triggering but I was wondering if ef note module could be close to roland with a better sound( in my opinion). Thanks!
All the best!
@@fabiotomba9597 I think you'll get great results with both options in this setup :) kind regards!
Hi, could I know what is the difference, regarding the expressive possibilities and the quality, between the EFnote 5 and the 7?
I've listened to both demos, I'm especially interested in the bop sounds, and they sound really good, obviously you need to test them live to enjoy the response under your hands and feet.
From what i've seen in the product comparator on efnote's website, the 7 has more stars than the 5 related to sound expressiveness

Is it possible to use the shells (and cymbals?!) with an Roland TD50X module? ... or would you say that's not good idea?
Generally speaking, ATV/EFNOTE pads should be 100% Roland compatible. You'd only need a "workaround" for the EFNOTE snare's additional cross stick trigger possibly.
Feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance at any time if you like. Kind regards!

How long does it take to set this up? Asking because our band plays around 100 shows a year. I know it’s not much but time adds up. Cheers
Hey Vic, pretty much the same time as setting up an acoustic kit + connecting trigger cables. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Thanks!

Very good alternative! One question.
The module any equip "tambourine" sound to add on the tom rim? In worship songs I use it a lot.
Thanks!
As far as I remember, the module doesn't have any stock percussion sounds. You might get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de to check, if there's the general possibility to load additional one shot audio samples to the module. Kind regards!
@@drumtecTV Okeey! Thank you :)

OK, if we compare it to Yamaha DTX6 ? How are sounds and feel?
Bery gud
Hi, you can also find our demo of the Yamaha DTX6K-X kit over here:

The EFNOTE7 kit is much bigger & more advanced, much more expensive also. You might rather compare it to the Yamaha DTX10K-M kit:

I personally think, that the EFNOTE cymbals/hihat & mesh pads feel even better than the Yamahas, but that's an individual preference & you should try to test both for yourself. You can find more info on the kits here:

Is this drum kit loud like an acoustic kit without the sound on?
Nah. It's significantly quieter, just like all mesh paded e kits.

Som maravilhoso top , pergunta módulo, consigo liga na mesa de som em 8canais , esse módulo só liga em R/L ?
This module sends 8 digital audio channels via USB for PC recording; for analog audio (live situation) you can have up to 4 outputs for example you can route kick for ch1, snare for ch2, and the rest on ch3 and 4 (toms and cymbals, you could do some panning here), that way the audio Engineer would have more control than on a regular ekit, most of them have only L/R output...
