Hey mate, I don't imagine it has any major effect on the front alignment, I left it 👍 If you're handy on the tools and nothing seizes about an hour and a half? Hard to say as the second I put a camera in the mix the time blows out 😬 but not too long!
Hey mate loving the vids.I’m getting the psr 3” lift kit soon - are the castor wedges necessary for every lift above 2”? The kit I’m getting happen to have the same extended shackles that you have. Cheers
Hey mate. Without them there is a shim in the driveline. A lot of people seem to have said the same thing and they recommend doing it but if theres no shim you may be fine. You'd have to ask PSR to be sure as it may differ per lift kit. Mine was particularly obvious under acceleration.
I’m thinking I might need something like this. Did a Dobinsons 2” on my Hilux yesterday and I seem to have an ever so slight vibration when I let off the gas, most prominent in 4th gear.
Hi there great video. Just wondering, what made you decide wedges at the leaves were the fix and that it wasn't cv angles? I too had a 2" inch lift and slightly bigger tyres (no diff drop). I get shudders at take off, but I'm just not sure where to start, what to look for. Thanks mate!
Hey mate, the front wasn't running that high and my CV angles were still ok at that point. Also when in 2WD it would shudder but the front has no drive so couldn't be the CVs. When you accelerate in 2WD its the rear thats spinning not the front. Did a bit of digging and this turned out the most logical explanation for me 🙂
@@ap4x4 oh nice, and your shudder, was it occuring at take off aka when drive train first started turning? My dad reckons mines clutch, but when I have clutch fully disengaged, in 1st and have foot on break, almost stalling engine, and then giving acceleration I still get the shudder, so I feel clutch is not the issue (also coz this issue started the moment I got the lift and tyres)

Hey mate, I had a 2" Fulcrum kit which consisted of 300kg Formula (fulcrum) leafs and HD torsions and RAW shocks. And I've been suuuper happy with the whole kit. Holds weight really comfortably, rides nice. Rate it! 👌

@@moisty254 it was happening when the car was under load (during acceleration, not so much just cruising) but more so in the lower gears.
