I'm not sure about the Stop That Tank! Payload Race variant where both teams have robot skins and both have a tank, but I think no team has Giant robots? Or do they? I remember there was a time when they did in PLR. STT mode has gone through so many alterations and fine-tunings of Giant stats and the details of the game mode itself (including special STT custom alterations of PL maps like pl_Upward or PLR_nightfall to avoid Giants and Tanks getting stuck in doorways) over the years since its Beta, I have lost count. I remember that in the early days Giants would spawn regularly, leading to sometimes BLU teams having more than 1 Giant on the battlefield. But number of Tanks and Giants were later limited for balance reasons.

Have you tried MVM machines attack? its a story mode version of mvm that has 16 chapters with custom robots and improved upgrades with elite robots that can kill their corresponding class easily, titan robots that are giant versions of the giant robots, reaper robots are boss versions of the 9 classes that have about 4-5 stages. oh yea i forgot the creator used google translate because he doesn't know english so you will have to see broken english in the subtitles. but any way it has tons of mechanics like a medevil mode chapter, a rpg like chapter, puzzles and one chapter is just like normal mvm but with the custom robots

welp, i always think the powerjack is a car battery being modified so it can be a kind of melee weapon, even if it's shaped like an hammer.
