am not in a position to give advice to brother Daniel, but I think I should say that it is better to have common points with those who are non-Muslims instead of arguing and attacking each other.

💯 Akhi they and the right wing in general are just controlled opposition to the liberal world order. But because they have the same underlying beliefs as the left - maximizing freedom and equality. Eventually even the right will become as liberal as the left is. When Sheikh Uthman asked him about it he said we can't just dismiss the good they are doing and have to unite with them to a certain extent and Sheikh Uthman said I agree but people got confused (and where messaging the Sheikh) that he might be accepting of everything they said. For example if I said simply I love America, if I have a high position in society, (Imam or a Caller to Islam) I have to clarify and say that doesn't mean I accept American Invasion of Muslim countries or Liberalism and so on.

You have to go read Surah Nur and learn the historical context on how a leader acts towards and about a person who was rumored to have done or say or hold a position. Seen this happen with a bunch of these people. Matt Walsh so far I haven't seen any anti Muslim comments or bias yet. However, I originally saw Steven Crowder debates vs LGBT and started watching his videos regularly and same with Jordan Peterson until I came across their views about Muslims. Was disappointed at first but realized it's on me, there are many muslim scholars i could've instead been listening to. What's funny is these guys and most of republicans don't even realize how similar their views are to Muslims but have this internal hate or racism towards us for whatever reason
So true! Personally I do watch a lot of Matt walsh not so much Ben shapiro. Matt walsh keeps me in the loop of all the gender ideology shenanigans that are happening over the Atlantic that hasn’t infiltrated Europe thoroughly (YET) cuz a lot of craziness happens in the USA to be quiet frank. So it gets me prepared for what is to come so to say and what I can encounter in my daily life and if Allah swt blesses me with Children.
With that said, I also am very mindful of how he picks and chooses when he is liberal and when he is conservative and know how dishonest his platform is but I have been thinking these days “that could never be a Muslim talking like this in these discourses” because like you said we immediately get disqualified because of their biases. They have labeled Muslim terrorists, Christinans little boy molestors and Jews… well you can’t say anything there because then you’d be antisemitic. So for the liberals they don’t want you to get out of that box they have drawn for you. But they do have a privilege to be discussing these traditional things because they have adjusted their religions to fit these society and contexts we are living in and like you said that is one thing Muslims will never do sell out (with the exception of liberal Muslims). So Muslims are like the outcasts of this world because we do not want to bend. We must stay firm in our religion and make it our individual business to learn how to debate these people like you do if asked something pertaining to islam.

I did not like this video by Daniel. I felt like he was venting and dabbling in whataboutery by complaining that Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro weren’t being asked the same questions he was being asked. But there is a reason behind this; A conservative Muslim would be asked about minor marriages and apostasy and whatnot because these are recurring criticisms of Islam. As Matt Walsh is a traditionalist catholic, he would probably be asked about sexual abuse issues in the church or the church’s position on abortion (which he is). Ben Shapiro is Orthodox Jew, but he doesn’t talk about religion a lot and focuses on general conservative beliefs, which is why he isn’t questioned on things like slavery in Judaism.
Also the reason a conservative/traditional Muslim like Daniel isn’t given a mainstream audience is because this community of Muslims isn’t very influential or important in terms of news coverage. Meanwhile Ben Shapiro is a major conservative influencer and Matt Walsh is leading a large and visible activist movement against liberal ideas like transgenderism and pro-choice. As they have more influence in US political discussion it would make sense that mainstream media pays them more attention. Daniel should think of this as a good thing too; Muslims are rarely every given a voice in the media except to reinforce the liberal side of the culture war or to demonise them for some agenda.

If you want to be honest then tackle the fact that there is desrepancy in the hadith about Aisha RA being 6 - 9. However Salafi leaners don't do this as they believe it would make the hadith weak, even though the age is not the subject matter of it.
16 - 19 is the logical conclusion if you look at the bigger picture and I don't say that as someone trying to appease Liberals but as someone who is a student of Islam. Haq is Haq and having ulterior motives behind not admitting the coherency in some hadith is Batil. Brothers in sisters, please don't blow things out of proportion about what happened at AIM conference. We have no unconditional love for anybody. Sheikh Karim loved the brother so he wanted him to clarify some position people were saying he held. You have to go read Surah Nur and learn the historical context on how a leader acts towards and about a person who was rumored to have done or say or hold a position. Even the Prophet asked Aisha when the Munafiq spread what they spread, make yourself clear. When she heard that she cried because she realized even her beloved husband cannot help her in this situation as the leader has to show that he is against this evil act and asked have you done this evil or not? The naive thing to say is he should think well of her and defend her. The regular believer has to do that, but Scholars and leaders have to call people out and tell them to clerify their position and show evidence. As for Sheikh Uthman, he was going to speak to him privately but since Sheikh Karim already brought it up, he made an ijtihad to also bring up a statement that people that follow Daniel and loved him were concerned about. Which was Daniel said he's dobandi, maybe jokingly but didn't mean he accepts all their Aqeedah issues. Just to be clear with the Ummah, Sheikh Uthman asked him about it, they had a bit of debate (which is halal and doesn't mean a person is trapping you btw) Daniel said we can't just dismiss the good they are doing and have to unite with them to a certain extent and Sheikh Uthman said I agree but people got confused (and where messaging the Sheikh) that he might be accepting of everything they said. For example if I said simply I love America, if I have a high position in society, (Imam or a Caller to Islam) I have to clarify and say that doesn't mean I accept American Invasion of Muslim countries or Liberalism and so on. Fear Allah and don't be suspicious. Surah Nur says the regular believes have to think well of people's actions. But if your Alim or a Mufti deff. go ahead and grill Sheikh Uthman and Sheikh karim If they get Saudi dollar or if they were trapping Daniel. Shaykh Uthman, a traditional scholar of Hadith, presents the evidence for her being at least 19 at consummation of marriage, so do others. The reliability of Hisham bin Urwah when he related that Hadith was very diminished. He was no longer considered reliable at the old age when he first narrated that specific Hadith. He lived decades in Al-Madinah and never related that Hadith and only in his seventies, after moving to Iraq did he mention it. Also the chronological evidence from the sister of Aisha, رضي الله عنها, is very strong. والله أعلم
