They can be stiff to move when new. There is no play in these ball joints they just move freely and this fixes your creaking noise. But you’re right there should be no play at all or you need new ball joints at that point.
Glad to see you uploading again. But BOOO Tesla, if you own a Tesla and want to fix that problem, find a high cliff that's within your battery range, drive to it, make sure nobody is in the car before you exit. The most important step is to ensure there is a clear path for the car to roll its war off the cliff and ensure you leave enough space for yourself to get out so you can smile and enjoy the moment as it drives to it's natural habitat which should be at the bottom of large cliff. If the car makes it off the edge and you start feeling guilty, just remember that Elon Musk promised your Tesla would be fully autonomous by 2020 and if your Tesla drives off a cliff without a driver, then it would do the same with your entire family in the car. So you've basically save the lives of your family and other occupants you may have had in that car so you're basically a hero and should be happy you can go and get a real car that you can drive without worrying about charging it and Elon Musks BS. At this point take an UBER home or local bar and invite your friends to celebrate because you've just fixed your problem of being a Tesla owner. SMILE
Love this, easy fix and free!
I don’t think there’s supposed to be any play in the ball joint. It’s meant to be rigid, no?
