Good idea! Over the years I've used several things: a box with grinder on a jelly roll pan, two vinyl covered notebook binders (rings removed) put together, etc. I still have my 1980s Glasstar grinder with a glass face shield. Now I stick plastic wrap on the sides of the shield and it sits on an old microwave plate. It's my favorite method because it doesn't block light and I just replace the plastic wrap when it's dirty. Plus the wrap is easy to move away with larger pieces to grind.
Very helpful! My grinder was just delivered for a Christmas gift 🎁
That’s awesome lm sure it will come in very handy, love using mine when l need it. Thanks for your comment and enjoy your Christmas present. 😊
Great tip! Just noticed you’re a lefty, after all your videos I’ve watched 😉
Lol it’s funny you hadnt noticed earlier because l can look a bit odd demonstrating and being left handed. 🤣 Thanks for your comment appreciate it. 😊
