Lackadaisy shots!

hello! here are some of my shots from Lackadaisy spanning 2020-2022!
this was my first character animator position and i was very nervous, but the team was so supportive and i will forever be grateful for this experience jumpstarting my career in animation!
the organization and layout of this production also served as a basis for how I organized production on Pipi which was was EXTREMELY helpful, so thank you again to Tracy and Fable for bringing me on for this project! go watch it if you haven't already!!

I'm curious.. what do you first animate? The 3D props or the 2D character?

I did a rough pass of the 2d character first, imported the mp4 into blender and animated the 3d prop. after that I would move onto 2d tie-downs and adjust the 3d prop as needed as I went!
