Brewers fan in NC here. Shoutout working for y’all’s Single-A affiliate the Carolina Mudcats for 2 years now btw. Working in the Crew’s system for 2 years has made me a fan. This is a special team this year. Hope to see them win a WS for Mr Baseball!
Hello from Wisconsin! This IS a very special team, special year, and this franchise has been competitive despite having to keep the payroll relatively low. Enjoy the postseason! I know we will! God bless
How many teams can say that they've lost close to their entire Starting Pitchers, their closer for half the season, assortment of other pitchers and players, and their top hitter(at the time), and yet they were still able to clinch their Division Title? Over 16 different Starting pitchers. A closer by committee in the early part of the season. So many different issues, adversities, problems, yet each time they found a way to overcome them. Each time someone stepped up, each time another player was called on to maybe play in a different position, or be a spot starter? Whatever was needed these players did it. Pat Murphy's approach has been absolutely phenomenal. He never seemed to ever panic, he always kept his guys on track. He has been the glue that held this team together and his willingness or his NEVER GIVE UP attitude has been a critical factor in this team's success! I've been a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers my entire life. I grew up in Milwaukee during the 70's. I was born in 1967. I remember going to Milwaukee County Stadium in 76 or 77. I was hooked. From 1978-1985 we spent a LOT of days and nights at 🏟County🏟Stadium🏟 and I absolutely loved every single second of it. There was NOTHING like going to a Brewers game. The ambiance of Milwaukee County Stadium during the 70's was unmatched by anything. The smells of the Hot Dogs, Bratwurst, Polish Sausages, and everything else. Hearing the a 💥CRACK💥 of the ⚾️Baseball⚾️ off of the bat. The roar of the crowd. Whether there was 15,000 fans or 50,000+, Brewers fans ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS made noise, lots and lots of noise. I hope and pray that this team can show all of the Billion Dollar franchises that this Underdog has the ability to not just make the playoffs, but win the National League Title, and again I Hope and Pray the World Series. They've overcome so many adversities as I said before. With a first year manager, a roster full of rookies and 2nd year players seeing this team win would be an absolute dream come true and a prayer answered.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Let's get out to the Stadium and MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!! GO BREWERS GO!!!!!
As Rock said in the broadcast...If Pat Murphy is not elected Manager of the Year, a lot of people should get their voting privileges' revoked. He is the glue that has held this unlikely contender together. Grats, Brewers, on winning the division.
@@HerbHerman-le5uxCounsell-out slapped this organization in the face when he hightailed it to Chicago. So any slaps he gets, he deserves. Counsell-out did some good things here but his playoff games were awful!
I've been saying this since the All-Star break. Pat Murphy has done a phenomenal job with this team. A pitching staff that's been absolutely decimated by injuries. Their top player out for the season. Yelich's injury however showed that Jackson Chourio is 100% capable of playing everyday in the Major Leagues. Blake Perkins also has had some really incredible catches in the Outfield. All the Outfielders have actually. How many homerun stealing catches have happened? Diving catches, sliding catches, leaping grabs, and pinpoint accurate throws to all bases. Our defense has improved dramatically since the Counsell-out years. Our hitting has also improved dramatically as well. We had so many years of great pitchers, but the hitting was non existent. This year, wow, everything seemed to click, and even with all of the injuries, Pat Murphy has kept them firing on all cylinders. A truly incredible season. 👏👏👏👏👏 I know another rookie has "better" stats, but Jackson Chourio has been more valuable to this team than any rookie in the MLB has this season. Especially over the last few months. There are so many players, so many incredible things they've done. A.Civale and Frankie Montas have been extremely critical in this run. Colin Rea has been pitching like an Ace! Freddy Peralta, when he's on he's been amazing. Speed, stolen bases, great decisions on the basepaths. Again every single player has continually improved, contributed, made an amazing catch or play, gotten a clutch hit, or steal. This is a TEAM!! A team that can be extremely dangerous against anyone. THANK YOU BREWERS FOR ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE SEASONS EVER. I'm still a fan of the 1982 season but this one matches it and surpasses it in some ways. PAT MURPHY Manager of the Year!!
Yes, And For 🆕 Iowa Brewer's 💙 Crewers fans who attended their first in person American Miller Park Family Fields Brewers Game a 4-7 ♦️ Cardinals ⬇️ Extra Innings Affair Labor Day Tuesday 🌃 via Milwaukee County Transit in the night From South End of City . Impressive victory for the Brewers since they’re back-to-back divisional champs for the first time in 40 some odd years. Now let’s see if they can clinch a 94-68 record since no other team has clinched the same win-loss record in the past 10 years. The last team to do so were the Dodgers back in 2014.
LETS GO BREW CREW!!!! Love to see it and Churio I feel is about to show us truly why we signed him to a multi year deal before he even touched an MLB field. THIS IS OUR YEAR
The Crew has proven this year they can beat any team in a series..Let's carry that to the playoffs and finally get one for Eucker!!! LET'S GO CREW!!!!!
Way to go guys. Enjoy this and then move on because there is still more work to do. We need to get the top spot so phillies and dodgers play each other in divisional round. Stay on it boys. You can do it.
The most impressive division title for the Crew yet IMO, considering all the adversity they had to overcome. Oh yeah...and F Counsell.
Depends game 163 was pretty savory

I haven't had this much fun watching the Brewers in a long time. This even beats their 2018 season. Go Brew Crew!

Would be yet another slap in face to counsell if Murphy won it first year with brewers. Craig did deserve the award in the past :/
