That is 1 of 2 things I never liked about his managing even though he did bring Crew success. He always changes pitches no matter if one is throwing great stuff and changes til finds meatball server. The other being his teams couldn't hit a lick come cruntch time your not going anywhere in playoffs w team average of 220
That was the best game I've seen all year. Much respect to the Cubs. They lost mostly due to Counsell's bad pitching changes. So glad the Brewers made the switch.
What is it about Wisconsin teams having players and coaches go to bitter rivals… I’ll never be ok with it. He could’ve gone many places but he chose these bums.
Craig Counsell got way too much credit for what he did with the Brewers. The team was mostly built by Stearns, and Counsell actually cost them some big playoff games and even a trip to the world series with his questionable decision making.
I saw some ridiculous article about fans wanting to trade Wily Adames? WTH for? Granted his average hasn't been over .300 but he has had considerable power, especially when needed. The same type of articles about Christian Yelich when he was in a slump. Both of these players are extremely talented, and both are capable of destroying any pitcher in the MLB. Players sometimes slump, it happens. I can't remember exactly if it was Paul Goldschmidt or someone else on the Cardinals, but he was in a slump where he was 0-33 or some insanely crazy number. With all of the younger players on this team, players like Yelich and Adames are vital for them. Their experience, and overall knowledge about the game again is vital in helping the younger players get better and grow in the future. Our defense has improved dramatically, hitting overall has gotten much better as well. Power may not be as strong as before but the team's averages has gotten much better overall! We finally have players back over the .300 mark. William Contreras has been on 🔥🔥fire🔥🔥 this season. Now that Christian Yelich's back is improved his hitting has gotten better as well. The rookies have been extremely exciting as well. Sal Frelick, Joey Ortiz, and others have also been hitting the ball really well! The young kid who pitched today, Robert Gasser? His ERA is below 2.00. The Brewers have won every game that he started. This team is still extremely young, but they are so talented, and so exciting to watch play. And a Pitcher named "Gasser"? He's living up to his name!
@@ChubsrealYTFavre to Vikings took over 5 yrs post retirement for Favre and the Packers organization/fanbase to mend any kind of fences. I'm sure to this day there are still some people that aren't over it. Rodgers(not Rogers) most people just got sick of his antics in the off-season and felt he gave up on the team and fanbase. When he returns no one will give af about it as long as he doesn't go to a rival.
Where's all of the Craig Counsell-out comments....lol. I was looking at the Batting or Hitting Statistics for the 🐻Chicago🐻Cubs🐻 and I saw something that was similar to last years Brewers stats. Very low batting averages. Few if any players above .300, and many of them at or below the .200 mark. I was a fan of Craig Counsell, and when he took off it seemed like a betrayal, but players leave, get cut, enter Free Agency, etc. Managers also get fired, quit, move on. This one however was just a little more than that. But just like the team trading Josh Hader during a Pennant Race Year, and dumping a Cy-Young Award winning Pitcher, after the smoke cleared, it ended up looking like a decent trade.

Good guys beat the bums. All is right in the world

@@aigleyrie its what we would call a 'joke'
And Satan's favorite team, the Cardinals, also lost.
A bonehead bullpen choice when the game is on the line. Standard operating procedure for Craig Counsell! LMAO
I believe the actual spelling of his name is Clownsell

Great reunion for CC coming back to AmFam ,....got his arse kicked!!!
Hate to correct you, but it is (and always will be) Miller Park.
Also not sure who CC is, but Greg sure did suck today.

It usually comes down to the benefits of coaching or playing in a smaller market vs a bigger market.
He chose the Cubs because it was right down the road.
Because, for whatever reason, we hire traitors in WI. Maybe it is our trusting nature.

Let's go Crew! 🔥🔥
Let's do it again tomorrow

I’ll take Pat Murphy right now instead of Counsel
