Hi Christina, I just found your site! I'm impressed! You look awesome! I hope you're doing fantastic! I just moved back and I'm so happy I did! Hope to see you sometime!
I’m from San Diego Lived in Havasu form2 years and planning on going back. Love the town . Perfect spot. One negative thing, don’t ever be in need of a major medical projlem . It will take you 2-3 hours to get to a major Hospital . Just be health 😊
Yes, medical is a challenge. A lot of people prefer the Kingman hospital. (It's a little closer). I like your advice though, "Just be healthy" haha! I'm trying!
Sorry you feel that way, while we don't have a ton of options, because it is a small town, we have managed to find some we like very well. One of my favorites is Barley Brothers, how about you?
Taxes are cheap, liqour is cheap, gas is cheap. But everything else is more or lacking. If you don't have atleast 1 million dollars and don't need a job...it's a good place to live but if not good luck.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! Lake Havasu definitely offers a unique lifestyle with its own pros and cons. While it may not be for everyone, many find it a great place to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, close-knit community, and lower taxes. It’s all about finding what fits your needs and goals!
No don't do it. No medical, no emergency vet, everything including millions dollar houses are less quality then anywhere. Hills everywhere not good for older people. Air quality is the worst ever. Houses here are pieces of crap. 73 Maga republican. Weather is OK but 6 months out of the year it's over 100 degrees old people don't go out in the summer, most people leave in summer. Do not do it...I did.. but I'm in my 40's. My neighbor had to drive 3 hours for a hernia... get hurt here good luck...ypu go to vegas via helicopter or car 3 hours away.
Low taxes.... but lacking in all community needs lacking a dmv, lacking medical care other then routine, hospital is for profit and doesn't handle real emergencies. Your kid drowns...kid goes to vegas, get a hernia go to vegas. The town is pretty the lake is amazing, the Mayor is awesome, the people are ok. But no dint do it. Check the census...people do not stay here more then 5 years.
Yes, I agree medical is a concern for a lot of folks. It's funny I used to work for a physical therapy company and we would get so many snowbirds that would choose to do their surgery's and physical therapy here and a lot of them would return year after year. It's warm and their bodies feel better. But, you do want to check out what the area has to offer if you need specialists. Many people that don't like our hospital will travel about an hour away to the Kingman hospital, they like the care they get there. I appreciate your input, I probably should have touched a bit more on that point, but maybe down the road I can in another video.

Where is the air quality better that isn't cold in the winter?
