Rhodey being a skrull also nullifies the show's entire plot. If you remember the beginning of avengers: endgame, skrull Rhodey went to Thanos' farm planet. This means that "Rhodey" knew there was a vacant habitable planet for the skrulls to make their home yet never mentioned it for reasons unknown.
Gotta love the director blaming fans for having, "Too high of expectations." For reference the expectations most fans have now are: - Respect the source material and/or prior movies - Be good And this is still too much for these clowns. Rest in Peace MCU, we will Remember the Fallen.
It's funny how they seem to be trying to use an immigration metaphor for the skrulls, while at the same time, showing how they also will willingly harm those who welcome them in.
Done right, the skrulls could been adapted to last a whole phase of the MCU. A new type of enemy - one whose main threat against the heroes doesn't come from their power level (like Thanos or those who came before), but from their skills in deception, manipulation and mindgames. The phase would've definitely been on the shorter side, but it could have made for a much needed break in the MCU from constantly rising stakes, scale and power levels. I can already imagine the possibilities: the skrulls infiltrate the avengers, trick some of them, get them to turn on each other, the group separates and they slowly have to come back together, and in the meanwhile other villains could show up to slow their progress down. So much wasted potential. The MCU is over. There's absolutely no recovering it from the irreparable damage that phase 4 and 5 have done to the universe. Phases 1-3 were something special, and I don't think we'll ever get anything like them again.

Damn I didn't see that way. You are right they really dropped the ball on this one.
Like the jews
As an arab, this show almost felt like anti-palestinian propaganda lmao. To be clear, the skrulls are historically less bad, but still.
