You have very good videos but this one is very very biased. You're not "losing time" prior to doing the Clinical exam because there are a lot of jobs once you've got part one and an English test done. Also waiting for a WBA is not the end of the world once you're getting paid, building experience and learning how the Australian health care system works. Plus not a lot of people get through the clinical on their first attempt which means more money to the AMC money making business 😉
Great video doctor! I've been binge watching your videos. I am a recently graduated as a general practitioner in Cameroon. I have been in active search for specialization avenues abroad over the last 3 years( while I was still in medical school). I really need some guidance. I want to get a scholarship in Public Health in Australia, then take my AMC while there and get into clinical residency after I finish the MPH, as that will be less financially stressful. I heard about the equivalency, that with GMC registration and at least a year of UK experience I'll be able to come directly without the AMC. The PLAB is more affordable and more easily available as it is taken in Nigeria (which are our neighbors). I need some guidance and clarification please?
But Amc clinical is much costly for pakistani graduates as you see nowadays in pakistan inflation is so high and fee of the exam is near 8 lacs Pkr which is almost our annual income So its quite huge amount for single exam If someone has done fcps residency there for 3 years so which pathway they can choose plz do guide dr 🙏
Yes, you can bring your family there. Your partner will be given work rights once you pass PESCI. You don't need AMC2. After passing AMC1, you need to apply for a job offer, once you have the job offer only then can you apply for PESCI. After you pass PESCI, you can start work.
Hi Dr Rizwan, thanks for all the videos, I have a small doubt, I have a GP Clinic and I'm the main practitioner and some do join as locum doctors, in the GP assessment instead of the letter of the lead of the clinic what can I do as I'm the head of the GP clinic. To get the 40 points. Thanks in advance
Your approach is really nice but problem is your courses too much expensive. You are taking lot money from examine. Try to understand our financial crisis. Already AMC pathway is hugely expensive, so try to reduce the fees please if you are help us rather than business
Thank you for the video . Doctor i had a question i hope you would guide me on this. so basically I did my MD (undergraduate degree) in Saint Lucia , west indies. so we dont have the concept of doing 1 year internship after MD degree per se. so in my MD course in my 3rd year and 4th year (2 years complete) i did hospital rotations in different department like internal medicine , general surgery, OBGYN, pediatrics , psychiatry etc but i didnt received any internship completion certificate per se from the hospital. and my MD program is similar to US MD system. so for me if i pass amc 1 and 2 exam am i suppose to be applying for Australian internship or am i suppose to apply for RMO/JMO jobs ? it would be helpful if you can give a clarification on this.
Hi! Once I have passed AMC 1 and AMC 2, can I apply for job positions or start GP/psychiatric training despite not having completed an internship, given that such a program does not exist in my country and is integrated into the six years of medical school?
Hi, you have been very helpful with your videos. I have a question. When we apply for limited AHPRA registration in order to work after getting a job offer, I saw " certificate of Registration Status or Certificate of good standing " in the required documents list. Does that mean we have to be registered in our home country health base system ? I have not started working therefore I am not registered, is this going to be a problem during AHPRA registration ? anyone who has information on this, please help me to understand !
Hi Doc, I am Bangladeshi medical graduate from Ukraine. After Ukraine degree can i start for AMC, as i am fresh graduate and didn't do any one year internship/housejob? Hi, thanks for your comment. The Workplace Based Assessment (WBA) pathway is designed for international medical graduates who have passed the AMC Computer Adaptive Test Multiple Choice Question (CAT MCQ) examination, hold limited registration as a medical practitioner and are appointed to a hospital or general practice position. Hi Doctor, if you had your AMC1 exam but not the clinical or WBA yet and wanted to specialise in Emergency Medicine and have an opportunity to start specialising in from January in your home country (South Africa) but also have a job offer as an unaccredited ED trainee in Australia do you think it would be better to start specialising and then go over as a specialist or rather go over to Australia now and start the process there? Also thanks so much for your informative videos.
Hi Dr Rizwan. I would like ask a 2 tier question. 1) when will amc release clinical exam seats after april? Do they have exam every month like amc mcq 2) When are you starting your next observership program? I sincerely hope to join this

I heard that it’s very difficult to find your first job after AMC part 1.
Is the AMC clinical continuing to have online form even after the Covid seems to come to an end?

It is ideal to have 12 months of hospital internship after your graduation before you apply for jobs.

You will have to show accredited internship or equivalent hospital/clinical experience or alternatively pursue an internship in Australia.
So we can still apply for job after AMC1? And then give part 2 while doing job?

Hello doc. How many times AMC part 2 exam is conducted in a year and in which months ?
You may book your dates according to the calendar provided by the AMC website
@@EmergencyFocus oh but usually in what months the exam is conducted. I heard its only conducted once a year
wait, so you have only 30% chance get a job after passing AMC clinical exam?
Chances are subjective and depend greatly on your CV, interview practice and the extent and quality of your experience!
Is wba program program only for international medical graduates or Do Australia medical graduates also go for wba program?
