Might be worth noting that siblings don’t always look alike, and siblings aren’t always biologically related. Although some of those who were dating but looked super similar definitely freaked me out.
Yeah, my adoptive brother & I are both naturally blonde, so our coloring is the same but our features are different; but then I also have half-siblings who are mixed-race (& their father was VERY tall), so we have very similar features but completely different coloring, & they're A LOT taller than I am. It feels like many people seem to negate/completely forget mixed-race biologically related siblings, adoptive siblings, & step siblings quite often until reminded.
The siblings who looked like lovers freaked me out.
Agreed because I have an adoptive sister. I think this challenge is for couples that look so similar or use body language you wouldn’t know they were a couple.
Yeah, a few of them I was like, "one of ya'll is adopted, sorry to inform you." 😅😅
It's common for mixed race siblings as well. My whole family is mixed. Most of us landed somewhere in the middle and look alike but one of my cousins decided to get all the melanin from his parents and leave none for the siblings. So he's black and his sister is freaking show white.

It's actually quite common for couples to look alike. A large percentage of people are attracted to what is familiar, what is comfortable. There's actually a psychological term for the unfortunate romantic attraction of family members who had been raised separately but met up as adults - genetic sexual attraction syndrome. The blood relatives either don't know they had become involved with a blood relative, or knew they were related and couldn't resist each other. Rare, but it happens. There was a documentary made about a father/daughter who didn't know until they were very involved with each other, but they continued and had a child together. Yikes!

FINALLY my time to shine! Everyone, everywhere thinks my brother and I are a couple. I'll admit we are closer than most siblings, we only have 3.5 years between us, and we moved A LOT growing up, so he's been the only constant in my life. now that we have kids people even ask if they are ours..... We definitely take advantage of it when we can, if a chick he wasn't into would hit on him in the bar, I would easily be the angry gf lmao... But we are definitely just siblings..

We have triplets (boys) that people think they are friends because they have different skin tones.
hhihi, they should play some pranks with everyone... (maybe when they're a little older?), like every week you take them to the playground a different one plays the "son" and the other two the "friends"... every week you change it around... people will be so confused. I am not trying to make light of this situation though, i hope it's not too hurtful for everyone involved...

I'm the oldest of 7 it was 8 tho there's me and my bro 2 Yr apart thrn when I was 7 my mother met my stepdsd and had 3 sets of twins 10 mos age gap apart! But out the older 2 twins the 1 didn't make it but neither of them look alike they just look like bro n sisters not twins all totally different except they all have me steodads big nose aha and ears bless
I really hate the fact that everyone who's close with their siblings make me feel kinda weird, i mean not all of them have sick minds but I just hate being judgmental and looking at what could have been honest loving siblings relationships the same way i look at the fucked up ones .
The fact that showing genuine love to your siblings can be weird to others like me and showing pure hatred to your siblings or not caring about them is okay to me is kinda fucked up lol.

And despite me KNOWING it’s perfectly normal and healthy to be close to your siblings, I can’t help but find it “weird” when siblings are close. It’s because to ME, it IS weird. The culture I'm living in taught me that being close to your male siblings is a no-no and the closest I should be to my brothers is between handshakes and awkward half seconds hugs only in formal occasions, my brothers and I relationship is basically petty fight and who should tell on who kind lol, so every time my best friend Tell me about the relationship between her and her brothers my mind plays the sweet home alabama or what are you doing step bro like eww i don't want to feel like that i want to be understanding, just because I grew up in a show hate to your siblings and fight the people who talk shit about them because the only one allowed to hate them is you environment doesn't mean that everyone else has.. and I also hate the fact that sometimes I happened to be right and the people i judged are actually guilty, it not a satisfying i told you so moment.. quite the opposite actually.

Good for you! My mother's side are all ginger to one degree or another but my dad's dark brown made us a medium brown that only shows the red in bright light. Doesn't really work with the redhead skin I got as well, lol.

2 of my kiddos have the dark blonde hair of my husband, 1 of them has a dark auburn that's got a brownish tint, and then my twins have my bright orangey red. Funny thing, my mom and dad were both brunettes but my grandpa had my exact color hair. Somehow I ended up with it.

I did my part too! My son has red hair like mine, and I had two grandparents that had red hair but my parents both had dark brown hair. I have two siblings a sister with dark brown hair and a brother with blonde/light brownish hair. My Mum used to joke that we were from different milkmen lmao 🤣😂😆

Something to remember while playing this game (which just makes it even more confusing) is some siblings are step siblings or half siblings, so they don't resemble each other much, and oftentimes, we're attracted to people who look similar to us. So, yeah. That just makes it even harder. 😄

These were tough to guess for me, especially since I have run across stories where siblings were separated at birth or when very young and then somehow ended up reuniting without either knowing who the other really was and actually dated before learning one way or another that they were siblings.

My sisters and I don't look alike, I've had a complex about it my entire life. We have the same mom, raised under the same roof but different dad's.
There's half-siblings, step-siblings,
siblings with the same mom and dad. one may take after mom the other one takes after dad.
Not all siblings are in the same situation and not all siblings look alike🤷🏻♀️ makes playing more fun🤣

I didn't think those two girls on the escalator were siblings but one having darker skin made me realize that they could be half-sisters...yes a part 2 for sure.😁
And they could be twins. It has been known to happen. One parent can be black, the other white. And if the sisters aren't identical, one can come out much lighter or darker. Or, even half-sister twins. Woman could get pregnant by two different men in a short window of time.
I have only half siblings. One of my sisters is half sami and look like a sami, and no one can ever think we are siblings. We have literally nothing similar than our mother.
