Use to love when Tyler Wilson would hop on a radio show, he’s insight was a lot like yours with the attention to detail. Would love to hear his thoughts on the offense this year.
Keep doing the breakdowns. Its tough to navigate Pittman's coachspeak but your videos help me makes sense of what I am seeing on Saturday. Thank you. For interviews ... Matt Jones, Paul Petrino?
Awesome that you took time out to answer the questions brother. Gotta trim the fat off the playbook. Petrino has to run alot of screens and quick outs. Obviously run run and run the ball. No more throwing the ball 28 times.
Yo, DJ! My question is this. What do you have to do(i.e.wins per season, nil collective number, marquee wins) and how long does it take to establish your program as elite?
Dj I think that you should hook-up with John Nabors. I believe he could give lots of great information to help your show since he has a successful show. I really enjoy your show
Great idea for this new segment. Love the intelligent questions with intelligent answers. DJ and/or Grant - why does the hogs oline allow so many untouched rushers at the qb in pass protection? I watch a lot of football and feel we really struggle at this and not improving.
You have reviewed the tape way more than I have but from what I see the issues are clearly more so with the right side of the O line, Do you see that? Whenever I watch Carmona he seems to be doing a solid job and looks like a legit SEC left tackle.
Great show DJ! If you reach out to former players, consider some old guys (my generation) to see if they still follow the hogs and what they think would help get players that want to be at AR over just wanting to get paid... examples Ron Calcagni, Billy Ray Smith Jr., Tony Cherico (awesome NG), and younger guys like Clint Stoerner, Anthony Lucas, DMac, Felix Jones... etc. Way too many great players that came here before NIL.
Dj I still remember when you fumbled hey Dj i still remember when you dropped that pass hey Dj I remember when you misssd that block and Ryan got sacked yo Dj you remember that time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m kidding bro … you’re doing a great day with these break downs … keep up the good work go hawgs
NIL and Portal killing us...and other teams. I'm okay with transfer, but there really needs to be more limits on it. Just like bowl games, half the players do not even show up for the bowl.
Knile davis, dennis johnson, tyler wilson, cobi hamilton??? 😂. Just get the old team back together, well start a pro hogs team consisting of former hogs❤😂
Man that would be a great idea. Have old SEC teams play against each other. Maybe during awareness months as an exhibition or a charity match. I sure would pay for that.
I come from a weight lifting background. Do we have a lack of pure strength in the lines? I mean I know the S&C Coach is very intense but we need to be just bigger and have more power at the guard-center-tackles seem to not move the line of scrimmage? I would love to know the numbers on squats and deadlifts? &^
Not from the weight lifting background or even high level sports, but noticed similar lack of strength... do you think its a lack of endurance? I may be wrong, but I think that I would prefer guys who can do high max reps of significant weight over a one rep great weight guy.
@@brentpanneck1294 I don't think it's endurance from watching the S&C Coach he's works them I'm not doubting that. I know when I didn't really lift early in my sports career. I always did bench press it was my obsession but when I started doing squats and I mean heavy squats I didn't get tired anymore. I can tell you I couldn't hardly walk out of the gym after a leg workout. I made phenomenal progress with the 5 sets of 5 reps as heavy as possible. When I did the 5 and 5 I would go up on and on. It just seems like we get pushed around on the interior lines. We look big but do we have the power to go with the big bodies?
This has quickly became walk and talk level must see. Love it.
I am New to your podcast. But really enjoy it. But seem to tune in late. Because I don't know what time to tune in...
Yours Truly Hogbreath
I'd love to see a collab with Trey......this has quickly become my go to for hog information.
You're moving toward GOAT status DJ.
Where does the Offensive line need improve ?

This is a cool segment! Thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions!
Any time!

Thanks, will do!

Make sure you stay tuned for Thursday's episode, Grant touches on the subject

I want you to have Quinn Grovey on sometime to dissect QB play. One of my fav Hog QBs.
Greg Childs Darren McFadden Felix jones Marcus monk
We need the greatest backfield in AR history:
D-Mac, Felix Jones, Peyton Hillis

Wps. Great video concept. And I, as a viewer, am obviously unbiased in this perspective 😂
Hahaha. Yeah. Not biased at all! Thanks for watching !
@@4th_and_Five No, Thank YOU, good sir.
Good content DJ. All time Hog great player!
Appreciate it!
Why does our DC not use pressure like he did in former jobs? Auburn saw a little more pressure but until that I was wondering why not?
I played tight end. We ran the old jump pass pretty regular. Don’t see it utilized much nowadays
Can you get Dennis Johnson on to talk about how he use to mow dudes over?
Have the hats sold out? doesn't show up on the merch for 4th and 5 collection
Still available. Just checked. They should be up on site now.
DJ, the way to pronounce that word is PAY-TREE-ON
OMG. D-MAC!!???????
You gotta think that the offensive complexity problem isn’t exclusive to Arkansas… just more so a general problem with NIL
More content need more faster please I need it.

Why not use two quarterbacks. Put green at wide out and singleton under center and run multiple plays using both.
JJ used to be a quarterback. That play is there if they want to use it.

DJ do you think we'd win at least 8 to 10 games every year in the big 12.
Stop talking about the big 12 we ain’t going to the big 12 lol trash 🗑️
@JustinWilliams-f6l it's a hypothetical, my man. Just a question.
