Better to buy investments on red days. The market cannot be rising forever, there bound to be pullbacks. So buy when there's pullbacks and not when its rising like crazy. If you understand a bit of TA, can time your entry better to lower your average price. Ultimately, just buy when its dropping like crazy. If you believe in this investment, why not buy it when it's cheaper? That's what most are doing wrong because they like to chase when they see it's rising too much, buying at the all time highs. But ofc, not anyhow buy some stocks that just IPO-ed and those with no strong fundamentals. Best is just buy SnP500 for long term investment. Skip SG etfs all cuz u can have a look at the long term chart its sideways compared to SnP which is in an uptrend.
For now it's best not to buy since its high for SPX500, i trade Forex, commodities, as well as indices so even aside for trading, for long term investment should wait for a market correction/pullback for 3-5% depending on the situation. it's not a right time to buy for now, my two cents.
