Not to hate but all of GETID homes are also pretty similar featuring same vendors and similar styles..
So....in a recent interview with Hazelle, Ryan revealed he still owes somebody 100k-odd and in many interviews since his divorce, he talked about how broke he has become due to his legal fees. But here we are buying another condo and the sofa alone costs 15k.
Wtf????
i think u jump the gun. if u really follow the news, he sold his current condo and got a new one . with that, sure got profit and buy a decent sofa
so ryan is the kinda guy that will still owe someone 100k odd but spend his money to buy nice things rather than return the people the money.
You also don't know the 100k is under what agreement. For all you know, it's a monthly thing and he keeps that payment in check. Like you buy your house with loan, nobody will say you the type that owe HDB money yet buy nice things. Or maybe he is just irresponsible. Who cares
When I was looking for an ID for my current home, I had a couple of award-winning IDs giving me their designs but I will never forget this particular one. He was super insistent on retaining his full design with no changes from my feedback. Granted, it was very nice but I got the impression that he was designing my home to be on an ID magazine cover instead of catering to my lifestyle. Obviously, I didn't pick him to be my ID.
With regards to the renovation time......here's a big one. My boss' current home, a semi-d, took over 2 years to renovate. And it's just renovating, not tearing down everything and rebuilding the property. It's not normal.....the timeframe in case you're wondering. Shouldn't have taken sooo sooo long.

Not many IDs have creative mindset. What my ID told me most Reno are standard. Cupboard, drawers… standard design. Like mine, we have to feed them concepts and designs that are current and new. Have to google to show them what is latest or upcoming designs, carpentry. Once my Reno work are done, not able to contact my ID already. Is like work completed, rest is up to the owner.

Houses in Singapore are quite boring (incl. HDB & condo) - till you see the apartments in New York some of which are magic.

So I am confused. Is Ryan broke and owing ppl money, or is he rich until he can buy a 15k sofa and a condo? Or he just doesn't have self regulation?
you never hear people owe money before? people earning money paying off loans but still able to buy things? or u too young to uds and only able to see "owe money = poor cannot do or buy anything" and "dont owe money = sibei rich can buy anything"?

Disappointed in you guys. Singapore too small nobody else to bring on the podcast? need to bring in people like him back from irrelevancy
why cannot? he local influencer, interested in ID, has pretty extensive knowledge on ID, and is very involved in it. how and why is this bringing him back from "irrelevancy"? if anything is irrelevant, it would be your comment to this video.
I don’t mind watching his podcast/video, just that i don’t understand why he likes to bring up divorce in most videos
