This is the best tour of any shop I have ever seen! Tammy 's shop is beautiful and Tammy is just like you see her here. A very kind and thoughtful person. The ladies in the shop are knowledgeable on all the yarns and can help you with any questions. I'm 1 1/2 hours away but I still call it my LYS!

I think the Rock Island Ride was my favorite simply because of the name. You see, I went to high school in Rock Island, and I remember even in my earlier grade school years singing the Rock Island Line song in music class.

You did an amazing job of highlighting a beautiful store! We had a wedding in Kansas City the weekend of the KC Crawl and I was able to visit Unwind as one of only two of the store I could make it to in the time I had. I have to say that I took several loops through the store gazing at the gorgeous yarns and such they offer before finally settling on a couple of items. I love the Midwestern Sunset colorway that was created for them!!
What a fabulous shop. Boy, I wish I lived in that area just to spend time and shop there but I was thrilled to find out I can order on line. What a great community they have. I loved the 'Show Me The Honey but I have my heart set on the La Bien Aimee Merino Boucle Midwestern Sunset...WOW! There were so many beautiful yarns that I have to take my time and study them. I've had a cowl pattern for years looking for a colorway such as this. Unwind is a new to me shop, best part, I live in Springfield, Mo so will be making my way to Unwind very soon to check out this fabulous looking shop.
My favorite is the La Bien Aimee yarn called Midwestern Sunset. So beautiful. I had no idea that Aimee was from that area. 😁 I learned how to tell a llama from an alpaca. Someone said Comma Llama because their ears look like a comma. Alpaca’s ears don’t curve like that. 👍🏻

Great podcast, and what an awesome yarn shop! All the yarns are amazing, but I especially loved Emma's Yarn, Show Me the Honey. I enjoy honey in my tea, and the subtle colors were beautiful.
