Look for natural waxed floss, that are made with beeswax. Since most conventional waxed flosses are made with a petroleum-based synthetic product. There are also vegan-waxed floss that comes in a cardboard box, such as vegan xylitol floss by Radius. Use can also use real silk floss that is fully biodegradable. There's no doubt we'll be hearing more on these chemicals in the future, as researchers continue to investigate their biological impact and industries seek ways to limit their use and find alternatives.
