Here we go Porsche fanboys… This one’s for you! We’ve got our hands on the new 911 Turbo S coupe, the new 911 Turbo S cabriolet, and a 911 991.2 GT3!
Of course, the two turbos put down the same amount of power from their 3.8-litre flat-six twin-turbos, producing 650hp and 800Nm of torque! As for the GT3, it’s powered by a 4-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six which can produce 500hp and 460Nm.
So how do you think this one will play out? Can the cabriolet keep up with the lighter coupe? Or will the even lighter GT3 spring a surprise on our reigning quarter-mile king? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

@@dom_ferris_ I wouldn't be racing all the time and I prefer driving sound/experience to speed and not much sound, so for me I'd take the GT3, and, make that the new one coming soon to mix the new Turbo's styling with the NA Flat-6!

I could not hear any difference between the Cab and Coupe... perhaps the exhaust was in stealth setting? Note the coupe has the sort exhaust, the cab the standard one.

@Taylor Since when is 500bhp laking in power? That is more than enough for the roads and more than you ever need in the real world. A FerrariF430 has 490bhp and i would take that any day over some of these overweighted over powered modern cars that you just catn use to enjoy anymore. I bet that GT3 is a riot to drive! I came from a 996 GT3 so i can vouch for that.

The 991.2 GT2RS would still be no match for these 992 Turbo S-cars. Especcially not in wet conditions. We’ll see how it goes when the 992 GT2RS comes. However, on a track even the old GT2RS would smoke these new Turbo S’s.
GT2 RS will struggle off the line, Due to RWD.
That wasn't a GT3 RS just a standard GT3.
Either way, both the GT2 & GT3 RS would lose against the turbo's.

@@rajtrivedi4477 I live north of the arctic circle and drive my 911 GTS every day, even if there's a snowstorm. It's my seventh Porsche and none of them was ever bothered by the weather, be it sun or rain, or even snow and ice.
Its the reason I buy Porsches and not Ferraris or McLarens.

@@Niraol crazy thing is at autocross and the track, I am able to beat out many of the GT3 and even GT3RS drivers with PDKs, even manually shifting. It's all about the driver but I'll admit Porsches gearbox is absolutely perfect. With no lift shifting and revmatching I can shift very quickly. Check out the track video I have on my channel at California Speedway and how quick I can shift it.
