Quick, Easy and Delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding

Moist, sweet and very delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding. Quick and easy recipe.
The colour of my sauce is not so intense, not too dark because I reduced the amount of sugar, as I don't like toooo sweet deserts. To get more intense, dark, brown colour of the sauce just use brown sugar 150g.
Ingredients:
230g pitted dates
250ml hot water
80g butter, room temperature
50g sugar
2 eggs
230g flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
Sauce
100g butter
100 - 150g raw/brown sugar (I used 100g)
300ml cream (33-35%)
Bake in the oven 180C/350F for 35 min.
Tin size: 21cmx21cm
Use some sauce and vanilla ice cream to serve.
