The card collecting hobby has been a joke for years now..nobody collects and puts sets together anymore..its basically turned into gambling for resale on E bay now..

Never understand why people grade base or base interest cards. Just not even close.

Many reasons. Some people just want cards in their collection to be slabbed. If you get a good grade, you turn a card worth a buck or two into a card worth $40 or whatever.
I've personally never gotten a card graded, and only own two that I got in breaks. But if I had the money, I would send out the best looking copies of base cards in my PC.
