During the making of “say my name”, behind the scenes and their own reaction to their MV they confirm “Say My Name” is prequel to their “Pirate King” which is a country-style EDM trap music concept said by hongjoong. “Say My Name” is a title song to their 2nd album along with “HALA HALA” but is the official title track. Also, “Pirate King” is their official debut title song that leads into their second title track “Treasure” on their first album which they filmed both in Morocco. They have two title tracks for each album but only one is the official title track #ATEEZ #SayMyName
When Hongjoong dropped the trumpet, we were supposed to notice that every hooded person had on the same exact outfit that he did. Ateez started as pirates on a journey to find their treasure. The treasure can be several things. What you have is multiple Ateez with multiple desires in multiple dimensions. The dark Ateez (in black) are their bolder selves . So what is treasure? Treasure can be their desire for success. You hear them singing Say My Name. They want their songs and name to be known all over the world. Truthfully I have no idea how many versions of Ateez their are but in Say My Name, Hala Hala, and Answer, you see the Ateez in black.
If i know it right, then their storyline is that the members set off on their journey to become the pirate kings, they have to face many struggles, one of which is the darkness growing inside themselves that is full of greed that could very well take over their beings. And the storyline begins with Treasure
