They debuted in October 2018 with Pirate King and Treasure. Their concept is pirates who timetravel ( so you will see a chronometer in many of their performances in Kingdom and some of their MVs) and have a other version of themselves from another dimension (The Halateez, themselves in black clothes).

OMG YES FINALLY! Do Wonderland and Answer next! Hell do all of them next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, San is my favorite. He has the best facial expressions. They’re known for their explosive live performance style. Definitely check out their lives. Their concerts are mind blowing. They have a story line that resonates through everything they do. They’re time traveling space pirates.

Ateez have a massive storyline (regarding them being pirate’s) that has been consistent from their debut up until now so if it’s something your into I would definitely watch it in order.
Ateez 'Don't Stop' 'The Real' and 'Win' are 3 songs that I'd definitely recommend for people discovering Ateez. Please check these out!
Also, "Mullet Guy" is Kim HongJoong, the leader of Ateez. Ateez is a 8 member group with the concept of Pirates. There are 2 sides to ateez; Ateez and Hala-teez. Ateez is sorta like the good side, represented by the "happier" songs, while Hala-teez is the "bad" side, represented by the "darker" songs
Also the fan name is Atiny (Aye-Teeny), a combination of Ateez and Destiny. I believe Ateez comes from the explanation "We have everything TEEnagers want from A to Z." Hence the name Ateez.

Their name Ateez comes from the Ateenagerz it's a combination of the A-Z(basically everything) of what teenager's kinda like and look for, almost like what appeals to teens. It's focusing on the youth gen and their feelings. There is a better explanation but this is what it means to me and how I interp it!

With ATEEZ you can never miss. I am og VIP,EXOL and Shawol, but since them only Ateez was able to completely mesmerize me, and get my complete attention. One of the few that ALWAYS sing live, no matter how hard and complicated the choreo is (and their every choreo is insanely difficult). After their MAMA 2019 I became Atiny, Jongho caught my eye and to this day he is my bias. But I love them all, it's just the way it is with them.

I got to see Ateez this past January in Chicago, they have amazing stage presence and their voices live were great. I would definitely go see them again any chance I get.
