This is half the reason why I believe some people buy online rather than going to their local hobby store. Most hobby shops these days only contain 90% Traxxas products and 10% everything else. Traxxas isn't the only name in the hobby. My local hobby shop is the same, you walk in and nothing but traxxas.. I go in ask if they have axial parts or rigs or maybe losi or team assocciated etc and theyre like "nope but we can order" Traxxas is an amazing company don't get me wrong but we need to bring back the other essentials because not everyone runs traxxas. Overall, beautiful hobby shop i'd shop there if I lived in the area.

I just got a traxxas xmaxx and I’m 14 and this thing is like nothing I’ve ever owned and I got it for 545 and I would not recommend the brushed traxxas bandit and slash2wd but the rustler is the best all around rc I really recommend it
I wish I lived near there because I want all those special edition ones my hobby shop doesnt have. My hobbyshop sells all those garbage arma and axial cars.

now is the absolute worst time to buy ANYTHING hobby-related. the sellers know there is a widespread supply issue and they do not know what they will get before the Holidays, so they are not cutting any deals at this time. Many hobby retailers have been caught somewhat unaware of this issue (really? do you pay attention to the news?) and are down on their inventories going into the uncertain Holiday Season. you don't want to do business with these sellers, for sure. the hobby manufacturers also know this and are responding in kind with regards to hobby sellers trying to get product from them. they are not going to do anything for you either. remember, the domestic makers actually have the edge on importers because they are more likely to have alternate shipping methods at their disposal. if youre a savvy modeler, youre waiting until spring 2022 to buy your stuff. enjoy your hobby in the meantime, and try to have a great Holiday season despite all this....
