***** This is what upsets me with this sport. Obviously in my opinion, no places have better atmosphere than Celtic Park or Signal Iduna Park. Those two places have the best atmosphere in this sport. When it comes to American Football, of course I think some places have as good of an atmosphere. It's different because being quiet when your team has the ball greatly helps your team, but it's just as loud if not louder when your team is on defense. Hell, my Minnesota Vikings just a few years ago, we got the place to a 160 decibels.
Have I been to a Celtic game personally? No, I haven't. It's on my bucket list. But I also can fire back and say have you been to a Seattle vs Portland game? I bet not. Have you seen the crowd at "The Blue Hell" in KC? Probably not. Am I saying they're better? Of course not. I'm just saying there is some great Atmosphere over here in America.
The problem with many Europeans I have talked to about this sport, is that there is no pleasing you. I say I hope we can emulate an atmosphere like this over in Minnesota, and we're instantly rip off artists, even though technically you took YNWA from Liverpool. I love Celtic, and I love it way more when Celts sing it, but it's true. But then we come up with chants of our own but they're considered childish and rubbish compared to European standards? But then we try a "European" chant, and we're rip offs. Why can't we have cheers that mean something to us? Why is wrong to want to replicate an atmosphere like Celtic Park over in America?
I love Celtic, I just hate that just because I'm an American, I'm instantly neglected by some. I love European football, but I also love the MLS. Then for some reason you have to call American football handegg and make fun of a sport we love.There's no need for it.
Plus, let's put this into perspective, the MLS is as good, if not a better league than the SPFL right now. Celtic is superior in this league and that's really it. Dundee is ehh as shown this past week when the bhoys slapped them around. Am I taking away anything from Celtic? No, I LOVE THIS CLUB. It's alright for me to love the MLS too, and especially now that we got an MLS team in Minnesota coming in 2018 :)
