You can also hold top and bottom buttons together for 3seconds to enable kick start for certain rotary machines and cartridges etc :) repeat steps to turn it off
Simple & straight to the point with this power supply awesome man! Definitely needed a video like this because I was also debating on getting this power supply. Awesome video keep up the great work
I had eikon before ( the smaller version without the display ) good power supply and i really liked it. but i later decided i did want a suply with display again and boy after trying this one ( the critical CX1 ) holy smokes everything runs so much smoother at a way less voltage ! + i love the pre-set function and the light weight on it too, it seriously changed my tattooing allot !
how do you set up a power supply? how do you know how high to put it to and how low to put it to? what happens if you do it to high on your customer? I'm so new to this. I just wanna know basics.
I watch your video and it is so cool! It help me a lot. And you speak so clearly, that i can understand you without translator :) thank you so much! You help me to choose my supples for the start Hello from Russia!
My friend who is another tattoo artist suggested the Eikon 420 for me but I've heard nothing about it. Trying to do loads of research on it. I love anrijs and I trust his advice but if something is better I'll have to invest.
Noel Tan-Agnes mines been good to me so far. My favorite power supply I’ve used. No heating up or anything on 4-6 hr sessions. I am using a pedal though and not the continuous.
Maybe Someone can help too choose power supply im thinking about critical cx1/cx2 and atomx/r or evtl musotoku , which one will be the best choice for dan kubin v7.5 and evtl cheyenne thunder ?
Hey, I have this Critical and the Cheyenne thunder, but I’m having a hard time finding the perfect voltage to do shadows. Can you suggest me a number? Thanks. I love your work.
can't suggest anything to be honest , I don't use thunder and I never really pay attention to numbers. just see what feels right to you. Spend more time trying yourself to find good speed and hand movement, not looking online for numbers .
Holding up really good, I've dropped it multiple times and traveled around the world with it. it's cracked now and pieces of plastic broke, but to my surprise it still WORKS!!! I'll deffo be getting new one soon.
Please someone explain why do i feel electricity tingles on my hand when touching the rca cable when my foot touching the ground?? Is there a problem with my tattoo powersupply? Im using critical powersupply cx1 g2
Hey. I would think there's some damage on RCA on cord, but It's hard to tell without seeing and checking everything. try different cord, and if it still same - Best will be to contact them directly about electric issues.
@@AnrijsStraumeTattoo i think is not the rca, becaude not only the rca, is this possible about grounding? And is the same feel when touching on computer pc housing/body frame
I haven't experienced any warming up with it. you can easy wrap it in film. it does have adapter with it what goes in the electric plug (like laptops). and that can get warm after hours of use. but it's underneath the table anyway so you don't need to cover it. forgot to mention / show that in this video .
Have you tryed Lithuania irons ps1 or ps2 I have a ps1 and it's the only power pack I found not to have any faults and iv been useing it for about five years and it's never let me down. your work is savage🙏
hey , I haven't tried one. thank's for info, I heard about those good things, I'm not really into design of them myself. And this runs perfect for me, so I'm not looking for any other pack for now.
hey! how is it going?! thanks for the video! I just bought one a day ago! and I got a Question! what is the voltage you recomend to shader and to liner options? or what is your suggestion? thank you so much!
hey, thank's for checking video. I don't have any recommendation , every machine and every person will run it on different power. some people like shading fast some slower, same with lining. there is no one number for everything. could be anything from 4-10V ! just need to try yourself or check machine manual or contact machine makers and ask what voltage they suggest to run it. you can check videos for my other machines I talk about voltage and see how much it changes from machine to machine.
Cheyenne Thunder machine (and possibly few other machines too) will start only using 9+V on other power supplies. You need to get separate cable to even run that machine , or you need to use jump start mode, what gives that boost to start machine even on lover Volts.
I'm not sure. I have Cheyenne Hawk and Pen , and they don't need any startup cable. runs perfect. about thunder I just checked few forums and some people say that CX2 version Runs without startup cable. but I don't know for sure if It will. You can read about it in Cheyenne or Critical website, or ask them directly about it.
miranda millsap You dont need a start up cable when using the Critical Cx-1 G2 , it has a Jump Start feature for the cheyenne rotarys you enable it by pressing the up and down arrows at the same time eliminates the need for the start up chord!
Awesome ! Thank's for clearing that up ! I guess it's all explained in that manual too, which I didn't even bother to read. I don't use Thunder so I wasn't really checking that about that feature.
Actually not too brilliant Because it won’t start up the Cheyenne thunder hawk even using the jump start On mode. I don’t know certainly if this works with Cheyenne but the new eikon doesn’t work:(
You can also hold top and bottom buttons together for 3seconds to enable kick start for certain rotary machines and cartridges etc :) repeat steps to turn it off
that's great info what I didn't know, probably should have read that manual before. thanks !
Thank you so much for that advice. I was looking for it

glad im not alone on this ...love the cx1 g2......been running this beast for a few months an not switching any time soon
I just got mine today, I’m super stoked!!

All depends on the machine. You have a long ways to go before you start learning about power supplies
Go to tattoo university on this you tube ther fucking rocket scientists they should know how to do this I don’t know through maybe not
Try the musotoku power supply bro .absolutely awesome
Amazing, love to know a little bit about your art and work.

I had a critical but I love my Eikon 420. really helps with the color packing

hi Anrijs
I am waiting my new from the official site of fkirons :) any way...
my question is - can it warm if I wrap it up with film from all sides?

Anrijs Straume Tattoo thanks man . have a nice day
Yeah I love mine too.... really great price too ...

have you ever tried the venom ps2 power supply bro
I haven't , It does look cool too and smart. but I don't have no interest to try it. happy with this one for around 1,5 years already.
Anrijs Straume Tattoo will have to try one out bro. but I like rebuilding coil machines. the venom helps out big time tunning coils
Yes, if you building machines then for sure you need more info.
Awesome same one I have!

Hi Man! You are so Great. Thank You! Could You Tell something about volt what You using on Spitit machinę? kind regards :)

Eikon ems420 no? :(
I personally don'y like the look of that, it's heavy and bulky . + I don't really need all those extras on display - timers and % and other stuff ..
but it's really good power supply too, if you happy with that that's all what matters. good luck !
Duty and ft are all bunk

love your accent 🙂
