While roaming around the ring and looking for some forerunner artifacts, I heard a mix of Through the Trees that excluded the percussion layer along with a couple other details and thought it sounded very nice. I couldn’t find it online, so I found the various pieces in the game files and synced them with the original song to compile them correctly. I hope you can enjoy this version as much as I do.

Without the drums there's this sense of timelessness that I can't express....

The Chief and a small squad of marines walking through the grassy forests of Zeta Halo...
...they come upon a ledge, overlooking a vast canyon. Trees of various sizes and shapes pointing up at the sky. In the distance there is a forerunner beacon, perched on the edge of a cliff. A flock of birds, native to the ring, take off from one of the trees, squaking and crowing.
"You always bring me to such nice places..." the Weapon says inside his helmet.

Straight from 2001, my favorite hero has returned.
This has to be the most relaxing song I’ve ever heard. I’m lying on the luscious grass of Zeta Halo, each blade gently whistling in the breeze, the sporadic pulsating hum of the sentinels providing a welcoming accompaniment to my eternal bliss. I hear the reassuring peppering of AR fire, I am protected from all who would seek to disrupt this slumber. Time fades, life fades, only I and my bliss remain. As the last reclaimer, at peace, I request Despondent Pyre teleports me to the control room. With a calm assuredness, I activate the ring. It’s winds transport me into the divine beyond. The Great Journey is at end, but another is just beginning.

This track perfectly captures the awe and wonder at a new Halo ring.
Classic halo sound… but you gotta love the faint robotic forerunner esc beeping. Joel has a distinctive style that makes his tracks in the Infinite soundtrack stand out to me

@@alduinfr I mean yeah but that's marvel. Halo has such an identity from Marty and Michael salvatori that when you hear one of their tracks you hear Halo.
Like this track we're listening to, it was made by Marty but has been tweaked to fit infinite.
these concept arts are extremely well done. instead of just looking at the grandeur of this awesomeness, why don’t they just be our infinite loading screens for loading up a save or multiplayer match?

Reminds me a lot of Sonic Unleashed: Gaia Gate.
Gosh, what a throwback. I remember some of the Wii temple puzzles really throwing me for a loop.
The songs do sound similar, don’t they? Reminds me of some Metroid Prime tracks as well, especially those for Phendrana Drifts. These sorts of atmospheric tracks can really stick with people when done well.
