My Galaxy A52S with Snapdragon 778G is still very capable even after 2 years! It is the best midrange phone Samsung ever released. And it was updated to Android 14 last December, 2023. The software is an absolute win for Samsung's midrange!

All my relatives know me as the I.T guy and everytime they want to buy a phone (which is not too expensive because most normal people out there don't care, just for basic apps to work well) they ask me which phone and I always recommend them the A series and they have been very satisfied with the experience, Samsung makes some good looking budged phones with good screens.
Hype train has started for A55.😅 Hope they give the phone enough performance for stutter free usage. Using my A52s, the moment I turn on work profile, it stutters hard for a couple of minutes, that's with SD778G, hoping Exynos 1480 finally brings enough improvements to improve upon. Other things like software support, UI features, Display, battery are still good in A52s. Updates still come every month which is commendable considering this phone launched on Aug 2021. These phones cost 30-35k and UI lag is not acceptable at this price range.
They put low quality components in non flagship phones like you'll get low wifi signal or the 5g antenna won't be as strong as the the flagship. These changes are noticeable if you are used to flagship.
I had samsung guru (in 10th standard) , got samsung note 3 in 1st year of college , bought samsung s7 edge in 3rd year (used it for 6 years)😂 , currently using samung s20 fe , sailing smooth so far lets see how far we can run with this one .
Been using A54 for last 2 months and it's a deal breaker. Display, camera, Battery, UI etc all are excellent but if you talk about gaming then i can play pubg on HDR with ultra frame rate and Smooth with Extreme frame rate which is enough for a smooth gameplay. Atleast for me

thats weird normally chinese phones doesnt have the main usa 4g and 5g bands. youre just probably in a bad area. if you live in asia then chinese phones might be a better option as you mightve gotten international europe version of samsung devices
4:14 maintenance mode is joke for security , i had my usb jack replaced so before it i turned on maintenance mode , but they told me that i have to turn it off so they could run check up and back up my data if privacy concerned and i called samsung helpline they told me same. I didnt find any use of it so dont listen to things that are on paper.

If only they made a54 a liiittle more powerful processor (~25 %) it would be the PERFECT midranger! OneUI is amazing, screen colours are unmatched, IP68 and headphone jack.. This year I ended up with Nord 3; apart from the SoC and quick change everything else is mixed feelings..

those are good reasons that build a solid phone but most people just aren't updated about tech in general or watch reviews, what drives the sales are availability, branding and pricing The price is in a sweet spot that's not too low where you basically get e-waste and not too high for it be out of most peoples budgets, It's available across the globe and samsung's brand reputation overshadows the phones flaws and what the competition offers it's a solid phone but isn't the best vfm imo
Couldn't agree more, with everything in this video. But, and this is the biggest thing, which is the reason why I will never buy a mid or low range Samsung phone, is that they slow it down with the updates, over time. Though this is not the case with the top flagship series, yet you have to have the budget for that.
I don't know if this video is made in collaboration with Samsung or not but the main reason behind the sales of Samsung's A series phones is Samsung's stable excellent SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE and Samsung's BRAND VALUE ; nothing else. In terms of camera, build quality, display, etc., Samsung's A series phones are not even close to Chinese brands (including 'Nothing' brand) of the same price segment. Yet people are buying the phones because of what I said above, nothing else.
Display is better mostly when compared to the segment now since 2023 curve displays are offered on some devices in this whole segment so it's upon preference but display and colour accuracy of samsung is on point. Recently we purchased a SAM A34 while we were focusing on and only on moto razr40 (base variant) but once the inner display turned on our mood turned off then the guys of reliance digital showed us everything from S23 to 1+ 11R to Nord 3 and Ce 3 to some vivo and oppo reno phone. We settled on A34 instead of a54 and s23 because of screen size. And among all phone whenever you unlock any of the demo phones and homescreen comes up every other phone loooked dull in front of the samsung phone. And Moto edge40 neo was thete and it looked great too
It's the most sold android because it's an Samsung but considerably cheaper than the S series. It's really that simple. Most people don't care about specs and performance, all they care about is good price and having a brand name phone. Personally I'd never buy it because it only supports 25W charging and the brick itself is not even included in the box. Instead I went with Realme 11 Pro. Similar price with similar quality processor but with a curved screen and 67W charging speed with the charger included in the box. The downsides are shorter software support and lower quality camera which for me wasn't a big deal because I don't take many photos.

I still use OG Samsung A50 😎😎 and tbh it's the most value for money A series that Samsung has ever launched. At ₹20k there was no competitor. 'A' series these days are around ₹40k+ and that price although the phones have something about everything but don't feel like value for money anymore (+ and ofcourse there's competition at that range )
Samsung has the best budget phone displays. I have seen soo many of my friends within similar price point having xiaomi etc, color accuracy is never the same. And mine's like 4 or 5 years old. Wish I could hv the same display for my laptop lmao.

Samsung updates are the best in the business. Yet the A54 will not get AI, a strict distinction between A-series and higher end s-series phones. The fact Samsung does this is ok but they should be clearing about this in advance. By not doing so Samsung leaves room for speculation.

I use Samsung F22 a 10k device and just love how good a low budget device like this performs in the normal day to day tasks like a champ.

a5x series always get 3 years stutter free then it goes down hill from there to the finish the last two years of its ~ 5 year lifecycle
