This video was filmed Last week stay tuned for the next video to hear Harry talk about the recent run up in metals!
Despite what you said in this video silver is the best move there is and the most undervalued asset on the planet so I'd much rather go into this bull run with silver in my hands rather than gold
@@hauraw1313 exactly!
As kids my brother and I brought silver certificates to the bank and the teller would give us silver dollars ... I'm surprised Harry didn't bring that up as surely he must have as a kid as well.

A weaker dollar is inevitable. China being part of BRICS will do any thing to make the dollar weaker to improve their economic situation and aid the importation of commodities into the country
Of course decaying American Chinese relationship means lower USD and higher rates. China has 3.2trillion in foreign exchange reserves, they don’t need the US.
The current market/economy is unnecessarily tougher for boomers/senior citizens, I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the currentrollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.
Buy gold, govt has failed us
Gold is a great investment and a good bet against the devaluating dollar, been holding some for awhile now, I’m grateful my fin-planner momentous changes in the market are lightening quick, cos who know how much losses I would’ve had by now.

Don’t treat metals as an investment. Treat them as your savings.

Doing either is okay. The important part is having it in your hand.
I do, but one can not deny that silver has outperformed the S&P500 year to date.

@DeweyMilton look at Constitutional coins, both silver & gold. They have much lower premiums. If you're just starting and can afford a $130 or so, try a roll of mercury dimes. In 1940, a Mercury Dime bought a loaf of bread. Today, that same Mercury Dime still has the purchasing power of a loaf of 🍞. So, you can think of your roll of Mercury Dimes as a year's supply of bread that fits in your hand and does not get moldy.
Best wishes on your stacking journey. 👍

Hi Harry and team. To answer one of your questions, I am definitely a Silver Maple Leaf fan. At 9999, the laser mark security feature, the royal sovereign on the reverse, and the intricate Maple Leaf and radial design on the front, I think it is prime choice. Also, since 2018, they have added the MINTSHIELD trademarked coating to prevent milk spotting. Thanks for reading and keep up the great work. Love you guys!!!
Harry! Amazing -- My husband collected that exact same worthless Zimbabwe currency you showed there, just because he wanted a material symbol of hyper-inflation! They are selling it for next to nothing on eBay. I suggest you buy a stack of these and give them out to good customers as reminders to folks of why we stack -- they are powerful educational tools!
The economic crisis and downturn are all the signs of 2008 market crash 2.0, so my question is do I still save in the US dollar or is it okay to move all emergency and savings to precious metals?
Gold and Silver are often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.
Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. It's important to have clear investment goals and educate yourself on the type of investment that interests you. I work with a financial consultant regulated by the SEC, and started small, but eventually accumulated over $800,000.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

saw a couple of those Zimbabwe notes in an auction recently. i talked myself out of bidding on them because at that moment i thought about the strength of my US dollar in that context and the 'what if' comparison fun ended immediately. the USA's illusion of invulnerability about the USD is still here. listen to what these guys are saying and think about your own situation seriously. it helps reduce the fear. thank you again for sharing!

The guys at the coin shop are so knowledgeable. It's nice to see people that actually know facts about things. Now days, people try to pretend that opinions are as correct as facts. Some of our biggest politicians are liars and don't know or care about facts.
And they're reasonable and measured, unlike so many gold and silver UA-camrs who are all in on conspiracy theories and divisive rhetoric.

I love Harry's Coin Shop. They are truly good people.
Dollar is already down 99% since 1913
Technically a silver dollar was $1 in 1913. There for if you base the American dollar to silver, the silver dollar has gone up on average of 3000% since silver dollar was no longer made for common circulation.
@kenolson2586 The silver dollars were worth more than a dollar. Why do you think a gallon of milk was 5 cents because a dollar wasn't worth a dollar smh 🤦
The federal reserve is running a Ponzi scheme
Between the founding and 1912 inflation on $1 was $1.03
Between 1913 and 2024 it's $1.03 to about $32.
In 1913, 1 dollar was one gram of gold; and it’s one gram of silver now.
I really enjoy the coin shop interviews. Harry is the man

Currently, my favorite silver coin in my stack is the Maltese Cross. It’s a beautiful piece.
Speaking as a multi decade coin collector, I personally only buy precious metal coins ( or bars ). Usually ones that I don't presently have in my collection.
Love Scottsdale Mint Cowboy Rounds!! Hope you can carry those Harry.
I love the Scottsdale silver stackers! They have the 3D face of a lion coming out of the front and are sunk in on the back. They will stack into each other and you can get them in a range of ounce sizes and they still stack perfectly together and it eliminates a lot of those super frustrating moments of knocking your stacks over lol

Everything Scottsdale has is beautiful. Just picked up some omnia rounds.
Same here . Check out the Somalian elephant rounds . They have tripled in value . Check out 2018 Somalian elephants . I'm buying the 20-24 and hopefully they do the same
Premium on Scottsdale is a little higher, but excellent quality
My favorite silver rounds ate the 80’s engelhards! I really love the design of the prospector lol

One of the most common rounds I tend to see in the wild aside from the buffalos is actually the Asahi rounds. I think their ultra low premium and very simple design make them pretty popular.

The Scottsdale cowboy rounds, and the Truth series tree of life silver coins from SD bullion are beautiful and very popular.
Twenty years I started with the Eagles both in silver and gold. Only when I started doing the math on the premiums, I branched off into silver rounds and foreign government bullion. I never realized I was a stacker until a few years ago watching these UA-cam videos. Learn a lot from these videos.
Appreciate you watching and learning ❤️🐉
“He saw something on TV.” We know where this is headed.
I've been binging these videos.
I've started building for long term holds. All of these conversations are so interesting. I used to think I just didn't care about coins or metals. Turns out, I just needed to hear the right people talk about it.
"What is your favorite or 2nd favorite silver round design?" Buffaloes are king, but you can't go wrong with the other classics: prospectors (inspired by Englehard), Eagles (inspired by Continental Coins and Sunshine Minting), and liberty bells. But, I really think that going into next year with the 250th anniversary of the start of the American Revolution, rounds with that theme are going to be really popular. If I had a mint, I would release a series of silver rounds with the images from the Continental Currency on them (e.g. boar and spear, hand and thorny bush, etc.). So much history and collectible crossover! Silver bar replicas of the Continental Currency would also be awesome.
I like the sunshine mint silver eagle rounds look just like a eagle but its a round
Trading the gold:silver ratio is a long game. Way Way longer than 95% of people are going to be able to carry through.
If you're just a general stacker, buy a bit of both. A couple silver oz to go along with your gold oz
Buy a bit less than you want to splurge on. Avoid any remorse and have some powder as we often say.
New stacker here. Not much better than an American Eagle but I actually prefer the super-simple designs of the Maple Leaf.
The silver Maple Leafs get milk spots really bad.

If you bought silver one year ago today, your silver has gained 41% in value. ...imagine having $1,000,000us fiat in silver. That's $410,000us fiat in gains as of today. Over $1000 a day.🤑 Keep stacking y'all. Can't go wrong with Canadian Maples Rounds
I can only "imagine!"
If you bought NDVA a year ago with that same $1 million, you’d have $1 million in us fiat gains (a 100% gain in value). I’m just suggesting that looking at yesterday’s returns and projecting it into the future is the classic rookie mistake. Past returns do not predict future returns.
Great video brother thanks for the info have a great week
Love you guys. I traded all my gold stack for constitutional silver and buffalo rounds when the ratio was at 48. All I buy now is Silver. Today the ratio has dropped from 88 to 80. I’ll trade whatever silver I have left, (after the SHTF if I have to barter) for gold when the ratio drops back down to at least 50 or less.
Fear is not the only motivation. Don't forget about greed. Some people buy medals because they think price will go up, and to diversify investments.
Yup. That's why they buy and sell in 2 days. Impatient and uneducated
Greed is fear of not keeping up or losing out.
Thank you for asking Harry! I like the idea of variety and would be more than happy to drive two hours to your shop and buy any of the following: Golden State Mint’s Incuse Indian, Aztec calendar, and Morgan rounds. CNT has my favorite Buffalo along with a good looking Morgan and Mercury Dime rounds.
These are what I plan on bulk purchasing while the price keeps going up and don’t plan on keeping once it’s time to sell.
Gold: ¼ oz or 1/10 rotating between Maples, Libertads, Eagles, Britannias/Tudors… In that order.
Would love to make it a monthly visit.
Sunshine Mining rounds are a favorite of mine.
+1. Beautiful rounds and the quality of the rounds, second to none IMO. My favorite from them is that BEAUTIFUL Morgan dollar style rounds.
Hey Harry! I’m a stacker myself and wanted to give my opinion on the rounds. For me, it’s always buffalos with generic silver. But if I had to stray from that, I think I would prefer generic silver with a proof finish or an intricate design (like the Aztec rounds). It isn’t always about the image, but quality of coin for me. Thanks Harry!
The problem is silver probably isn't close to an all time high when adjusted for inflation.
👀
That's not a problem right now as I'm trying to buy more.
Why do you think it would be better if the price was at an all-time high when adjusted for inflation? A price at an all-time high is usually a sell signal, not a buy signal.
@BenBachrach Forget the signals. One of the strongest currencies in the world is failing, and that's a fact.
Not close at all. Inflation adjusted all time high was $146 in 1980.

I like the silver prospector rounds😊🎉❤
Great query Harry! I like the Aztec Rounds alot. High liquidity is the quality I seek when buying Rounds. Indian Head Rounds would be next on my favourite list. Thanks to all of you for your quality knowledge and wisdom!
Harry is right about a 1oz gold coin being too high in value at $2 700+ for most investment finessing or exchange purposes. I remember guys selling 1gram gold wafers which would be about $80 each. It's also strange how people are patriotic about gold, it's all the same thing/price everywhere in the world and China is the biggest gold producer at the moment. You also see this buying preference in Europe with coins like Britannia.
In France we don't even really stack 1 oz coins, it's largely demonetized 20 Francs which carry very low premiums (0% to 3%) and are highly liquid. At $535 a pop, they're still cheap enough that they can be sold easily and safely to other private individuals for cash if we want to avoid fees and taxation.
It is incredible of what I see on ebay! People are buying like crazy and junk silver at auction are selling above the cost of the silver and the silver is heavily circulated. I have seen Morgan dollars selling above $41.00 people have gone crazy.

Silver is the poor mans hedge against inflation while Gold is for the rich.
Gems are the currency of kings, gold is the currency of nobles, silver is currency of workers and common man, and debt is the currency of slaves...
Nonsense. "Gold" isn't a unit of measurement, and neither is silver. You can buy any dollar amount of either metal. Just because your brain wants to see a big pile of metal doesn't mean gold is "for the rich". If you want 35 dollars of gold buy 35 dollars of gold, same as buying 35 dollars of silver. Your pile will just be smaller.

You mentioned several leading contenders, but I would recommend stocking rounds that closely mirror their circulated/constitutional counterparts. They are handsome rounds, their markings are recognizable even to the pedestrian customer and they elevate consumer confidence in their purchase.
Started buying silver in 2020. Later started buying gold. Now my stack is worth 125k. I'm up 25% or more
I really like the Aztec ones or the Morgan Dollar
In my personal opinion, the 1 oz 1985 Silver A-Mark stands as a truly stunning piece, one that I would even rank above the Buffalo. In my collection, the top three would be the Silver Eagle, A-Mark, and Buffalo.
