I am a veteran serving in Vietnam 1969-70. And I know there are lots of veterans in the homeless as well even the illegal aliens who made the decision to enter the border into the US as they did. I do not believe that many truly have earned the right under an open border (corrupt biden) and come to our city expecting to be cared for. As for the veterans the VA is trying to provide places for all but it is a gradual process.. And yet I observe our new mayor and city council spending our hard earned property taxes (general fund ) and they just keep buying millions $$$ just getting these masses into hotels, motels, etc with these general tax fund monies. I do not see the Veterans served FIRST over the migrants NO and yet the millions of migrants are breaking the US govt, state and city govts too. Veterans have at least fought in the wars creating our country as it was before the 2020 election. Pres. Trump won and it has been more than adequately proven. I am very angry what the local politicians are doing FIRST with migrants when they come without money (only from Fed. govt upon entering) and then providing for them OVER veterans. The problems with homeless veterans are many and VA cannot take care of all as fast as the migrants are getting housed, fed, etc. This is simply not fair. Or just. And one example - veterans since Vietnam in conflicts up to now are committing suicide 23 or more per day. These immigrants simply have not earned what they are getting. The border MUST BE CLOSED to stop them asap and lets give to veterans first for once.
