Glad to see you back making soap!! You look great!!! Love the pony!! Great recipe and the scent sounds heavenly! I have made oatmeal, milk and honey soap too and love it! For the oatmeal I used a Bullet mixer I picked up at a thrift shop and it worked great, the first time I used a coffee grinder I had and it worked too.
Hello Katie this not about soap. This about soft sourdough. Today I followed your recipe to the exact measurements. Using our bread machine used the dough cycle . I used my sour dough 115 GM's and one and half yeast. This turned out exactly as you said - the water is correct. My sour dough was medium wet but just proves you are right with your recipe Leigh
I love how this soap turned out! It looks like a design in the middle. Only a true soap making perfectionist would notice you didn't intentionally make the "design" lol. Hopefully you are safe and we'll see you in the next video ✨
Hi - I’m new to cold processed soap making. Watching as many videos as I can for recipes. I love this concept of oatmeal for soap. I make an oatmeal , milk and honey melt n pour which everyone loves. - the only thing I didn’t hear in the video was the measurement for the scent. Can you give that to me please?
Hi! I am new to soapmaking and watched your video as well as read numerous articles to prepare me. Of course, I had a little mishap. I decided to use an older pan to mix my lye and water solution, well it had aluminum in it and reacted. I got it outside in time but it spilled over. Is that pan any good to keep?! I have been washing it over and over, but I cannot find anywhere whether I need to throw the pan away. Don't want to throw it away unless necessary. Thanks for any help anyone can give!!!!!!
Your big fan from Thailand. I am not used to ounces measurement. It would be a big help if you kindly use percentage for the recipe. Your soap looks great and I really want to try it. Thank you for sharing.

If you want to add honey to the recipe how much should you add and do you need to decrease water amount with adding honey? TY and love your channel!
Hello wondering how much citric acid you would add to this recipe and how much fragrance oil did you add?
Hello, aspiring soap maker here. Does the oatmeal start to rot in the soap bar?
Do you have to use only rubber spatula? Can you stir with stainless steel or wood?
Great video, thank you 😊 I would have liked to see more bars and for a bit longer. Still an awesome video, though 👏
What water do you use? Distilled or faucet? Does it matter?
I love your videos... Thank you

Soapmaker in the making here, can we replace the water with goat's milk?

A coffee bean grinder works really well to get oats pulverized to the right consistency.
I use a regular blender lol
I uses this recipe. 48 hours later and my soaps are soft in the mold. How to rebatch them? Any suggestions will be apparent.
Thank you.
I make Tallow and cow's milk with some oatmeal. All my ingredients are local.
Does oatmeal rot if I use it to make homemade soap ?
Does anyone know the lifespan of this soap?
Slap chop would work great for oats
