@@MattandJulia I live in central Istra, near the city Pazin :) .... you can see the entrance of Pazinska jama (cave) and medieval castle there.
you could enjoy swimming in our pure and clean sea ... east coast of Istra is cleaner, but the west coast has more interesting towns, like Rovinj (Roviny)
Back roads and guest houses in small villages are the best. The scenery is beautiful.

A couple of years ago we took part in the Pula 10K night race. The finish line was in the amphitheatre under a giant disco ball! It was amazing.

Hey guys, I recommend you to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park before you bring the car back to Macedonia! It's one of the best places on earth, highly recommended!

The city of Pula was amazing,I loved the architecture! I also enjoyed all the villages you went through. I like taking the backroads when we travel, as you never know what you may see. The guest house is so adorable. Thank you for another wonderful video❤️

Actually, you should use the old road by the coast to go to Pula, its little bit slower but much more interesting and you are not paying highway.

You probably didnt know that Venetians (Mlečani) tried to replace amphitheatre somewhere in today Italy I think, but first ship with rocks was sinked dont know how, in Pula bay and so luckily plan was abandoned

The first thing most tourists do is leave Pula! The airport is one of the key entry points to Croatia. I remember arriving there before the war, and it would go down as the most charmingly terrifying experience of my life!
Pandemic made us see the worth of country living .
You & your vlogs made us see the connection & similarities of country living in different continents .. rarely featured in our countries.

I dont know your plans, but since you are in Croatia, it would be a shame to miss Plitvice lakes national park. The ticket is 35 euro i think. Expensive, I know, but trust me, it is worth it. 😊
Thanks Krešimir! We really wanted to but we had to make a decision not to go, our budget is tight and we couldn’t warrant spending that much, but we did fly the drone over top for free 😉😅

Oh, guys, you so remind me of myself some years ago...and 30 kilo's ago... before I got a job in Germany...now I don't care about paying 10€ toll on anything...so who's living the Highlife 😂🎉😢... but Pula is the best place to go to university to :) sunny almost all year long.

We really wanted to but unfortunately couldn't get to Romania this time (had some complications along the way)
With all the traffic, costs, apps, and parking problems you guys are not making me want to go to Pula....yuck. Those tolls are ridiculous.
Oh no, we couldn't park because it was super busy that day, lots of people come to Croatia on holidays, that's why it was very busy 😊 and the parking was not expensive, we just didn't have much change on us 😊
Guys, i think you lost the right to talk about the camp prices back when you bought the whole campsite. (JK ofcourse)

Pula had a lot of bad influence from Yugoslav Peoples Army during communist regime. Very bad balkanic influence and administative bureucratic mindset

@daniiel mlinarics Chill dude. It's not 10€ that's debatable. It's the attitude to charge you for almost anything in Croatia, and to squeeze out of you the most that's possible at that moment. That's what's making it an expensive destination in my eyes. To be honest a lot of services is cheaper in Greece, Portugal or Spain than in Croatia, not to even mention Turkey. But that's all fine. Just... that's an adequate reason to call Croatia expensive for someone! And you are quite wrong if you think no "west EU citizen" won't share this view.
We left the UK in December 2020 to travel full time on a very tight budget. Just becuase we are from the UK doesn't mean that we are 'by definition' rich! We are far from it. That attitude from some people also never ceases to amaze me!
Yes we hired a car for two months, which was a massive decision that we made for a reason and one we didn't take lightly, so what?
On that note, we can make any decision we like and we can have any opinion we like on the cost of things, wherever it is.
