This video is really well done! The information is incredibly accurate with so much detail. Also excellent editing and videography! May I also suggest another 10 lesser known gems in Istria: 1. Lovran (near Opatija). 2. Labin 3. Rabac 4. Premanutra & Kamenjak 5. Pazin Castle & Caves 6. Grašišće & Potpićan 7. Buzet, Kotli, & Trail of the 7 Waterfalls 8. Fažana & Peroj 9. Portorož and Izola (in Slovenia) and 10. Muggia and San Dorligo della Valle (in Italy)
We are preparing for a tour of Istria in October 2024. This video was very helpful in making my plans for our itinerary. Croatia is such a beautiful country. Hope to see and enjoy more of this country.
We have watched your videos and now completing some ofour journey in Croatia Istria. Very informative video. I am sure your travels in other parts of Europe will definitely make us decide which part of Europe to visit next! 👍
My very favorite city in Croatia is Rovinj. Loved it there. I’ll be going to Piran, Slovenia later this year. It reminds me of Rovinj. Your videos are very well made!

The heart-shaped Istria peninsula in the north-west corner of Croatia offers unforgettable experiences like wineries, olive oil tastings, stunning Istria hilltop towns, history and activities such as paragliding, rock climbing and diving.
Thank you for very nice content Is it a meant to be a sequence for destinations to visit one after each? Or just random collection? Would like to do it next season
No, the round building is Fort Bourgignon in Pula. Pula used to be the biggest military port in Austro-Hungary (which it used to be the part of) and there are many such protectuve forts around Pula. Google up, Pula Austro Hungarian forts. Welcome to my hometown. There are a lot of information about the forts in Pulas Aquarium which is also housed by an old fort, called Fort Verudela.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a great time in Piran.
Sono stati bravi i Croati e gli Slovenia alla costruzione di queste meravigliose cittadine . In esse c'è tutto l'arte e la cultura slovena croata .
@@antoniostraniero1924 it is always nice to be modest (if you are Italian?) but alot of it was build by Italians.😀
So, did you go? Piran vs Rovinj, which comes on top😀? I am from Piran/Portoroz😀

Croatia is sooo beautiful. Only dream of having alot of money and buy a retirement property there as long as it is in the coastline.
Many dream the same, but you can visit it even if you don't own a property.
@@rokgoesaroundits like a complete place for me. Its like Italy and Greece are combined in one country.

Lijep video ali Opatija nije dio Istre vec Kvarnera.
Spada u Primorsko goransku zupaniju.
Opatija je na poluotoku u Istri, ali i u Kvarnerskom zaljevu.
Geografski je u Istri, administrativno je u Primorsko-goranskoj županiji.
Anda what is about beaches? Croatis doesn't have any beach.
Beautiful old italian -venetian towns in Istria
italians are immigrants from africa...while istria is european territory
