@@mooki33 you didn't seem to pay proper attention to the show then. She specifically said to Nolan that Amanda Clarke was dead, she had been gone ever since what happened with her dad. So returning to that name, to her father was alot.
@@rhiannascureman2185 What she said doesn’t negate facts. She IS Amanda Clarke. Emily Thorne is her friend’s identity she stole. Remember? Are you sure you were paying attention?
I like this scene of her revealing herself to the world but I wish rather than shots of all the other "current" characters on the show that already know her secret, that they'd showed cameos of past characters who had no idea and they find out the truth and it all makes sense now, like Ashley, Lydia, Bill Harmon.
Especially to Lydia, her very first target, oh boy, I wanna see her reaction when she met David and Amanda especially since she was David's former secretary.
One of the greatest series ever. And the fact that it was a modern adaptation of the 19th-century novel "The Count of Monte Cristo" (and also obviously the awesome 2002 movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" starring Jim Caviezel) made this show even more appealing to me.
I wish that this reveal happened somewhere in the middle of the season, it would have been cool to see everyone Emily took down reacting to it and then see then try to engage her in a war that ends with Victoria.
+Piatequila 3rd season was good too. You won't get any spoilers from me. (Not that u can't easily find them somewhere else lol) But seriously go watch.
Piatequila Megan W. every season was awesome. don't listen to other idiots. it is one of the few series I have ever seen where each season was excellent
You can tell from her face how hard it was for her to reveal the truth. But fr, alot of the stuff that happened towards the end of the season after Daniel's death didn't need to happen. It was all Margot's fault. Telling lies on Emily.
Margot is a stupid spoiled rich kid who always get ponies for her birthday. She thinks just because her dad and her boyfriend died, she deserved the symphaty from everyone. She just adds more fire in Emily and Victoria's rivalry. Once Victoria almost get a redemption arc, she ruined it by telling that Emily made her lose her baby while in fact, it was herself. Also, once Victoria going back to David, shouldn't be a clue to her that she didn't respect Pascal anymore? Then, she sent an assasin to hunt Emily and made Jack almost die. What the fuck?
@@margarethmichelina5146 heck I hated David since he wanted Amanda to get along with Victoria even though he knew they hated each other. And would get mad at his daughter when she didn't want to.

I really love this show, wish they made more seasons, 4 is just simply not enough! What I love most about it is that it doesn't glamorize revenge, it shows the true price for acting on revenge. I hate the body counts, but that is the price you pay for taking vengeance into your own hands, it reeks havoc wherever you go.
Exactly. And I thought it was common knowledge, but what most people don't realize is that the show was a modern adaptation of the 19th-century novel "The Count of Monte Cristo" (and obviously also the awesome 2002 movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" starring Jim Caviezel).
@fidel2xl Yes Amanda/Emily like Edmond Dantes starts off as a normal person until she is betrayed by people she trusted. Edmond is imprisoned for like around 10-14 years and then escapes and passes himself off as a rich man to get close to his enemies and their friends and family. How much time does Amanda/Emily spend in jail.? ? New viewer here , please explain.?!
@@nataliapanfichi9933 - Well, for one the creators of the show had stated that it was a modern adaptation of the novel, before the show first aired. Also, the character of Edmund Dantes from the novel is portrayed by BOTH David Clarke AND his daughter Amanda (Emily Thorne) in the TV show. While in the novel, Edmund Dantes was wrongfully imprisoned for about 16 years, so is David Clarke in the TV show (although he was supposedly killed about 10 years into his prison sentence…but then he’s held captive by a ruthless mafia boss). And Amanda Clarke is also wrongfully imprisoned in Juvie for many years as a youngster due to a shady an arrangement that Victoria Grayson made with Dr Michelle Banks after David Clarke was arrested. Btw, during the show’s 4 seasons there are Easter Eggs presented in scenes that tell the viewer “The Count of Monte Cristo”. For instance in Season 1 Episode 4 (‘Duplicity’), in the very first scene between Emily Thorne and Psychiatrist Dr. Michelle Banks in the Doctor’s office, on the bookshelf behind the characters, prominently displayed is the novel “The Count of Monte Cristo”. This is literally what the show was an adaptation of. But the show’s creators simply made Edmund Dantes into TWO characters (David Clarke and Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne).
This is the best scene of the whole show. The acting, the delivery, the voice, the back ground music, the tension and how she reveals it to the world. Everything was just top tier.
