It was my great great gm car that was giving in a will to my uncle an my uncle didn't want it any more so I bought it it's was garage kept all it's life
Beautiful car, I had one back in highschool and that thing took one hell of a beating. I was was a drunk 18 year old kid with a very heavy right foot. Hit a light pole, mail box and a few snow banks. Not a single dent. My old catalina had a posi read and I was the doughnut king of the school parking lot and car wash. Man I miss that car terrible and I will get another one next year. Might have had a lsd rear but it would swing doughnuts like nothing and that was bearly touching the gas. I only had a 301 but I knew knew a v8 can run off 2 stroke gas for 6 days untill I got payed. I an only 30 years old now and I for sure will never let Pontiac die. It’s all I drive and I’m proud to say it. I never get left stranded and parts are cheap. My Grand Prix even brought me to the grocery store today under a foot of snow so I can feed my kids because my wife did have the car. Pontiac, you will never ever die. There’s a lot of us guys that love our Pontiacs and we swear by them. Many times over Pontiac cars have saved my life and proven there the best. God bless
***@Jay Jay - I bought this EXACT 1985 model and color in 1988! Mint condition. Loved the car. Very reliable. Beautiful. Crusie control, was awesome! Very very comfortable ride. Wish I never sold it! Too bad Pontiac could not make these new again for purchase - I would get another one*** :)
BEAUTIFUL car!!!!!! They started to put in Olds 307 early in the "86 model year because they were quieter & could pull a slightly heavier load. The 305s were quicker at take-off but couldn't handle heavier loads as well which is why Chevy started putting in Olds 307s in Caprice wagons in about '86 or '87.
Brings back memories. Had one of these in the mid 90s that my pop's bought. I remember it had a pinkish color to it but it drove like dream man. Love it. Thanks for sharing the vid....
I absolutely love this car! I have an 86 but the 85 is my favorite.. wish I could see the interior.. if I could I would buy this in a second! Beautiful ride.. 💖
I had one, like this back in 1986 , Silver gray and gray big puffy velour seats, I am guessing a brand new 1986 Pontiac parrsiene Brougham was about 18,000.00. What a great riding car, This car had a 307 v,8 engine, Sincerely Richard Dodds,
💎 I just bought a nice maroon one 85’ with v8 25,000 on the dash might be 125k for $700 needs a front header panel, bumper, hood, driver fender.... everything else is clean A1 interior looks 99% BRAND NEW it runs drives stops & sitting on a set of Vogue Tires.... I also have a CLEAN 1983 Buick Electra Park Avenue sedan I’m a put cragar 30 spokes vogues on both 💎
@ I thought about starting a channel since I own 3 old schools now including a 1988 Chevy Silverado c1500 GMT400 short bed pickup I may soon! Thank you brotha
Seen as there is no information I'll ask, is it for sale? Is it an 85 or 86, where is it located and the price if its for sale. Please let me know if it is by sending me a note. Thank you.
Appreciate the interest, but car is not for sale. I was thinking about selling it a few years back but decided to keep it and I am glad that I did they are becoming harder to find and what they want for them is getting out of control I did pick up another one recently. This one is a 1985 and the one I just picked up is a 1986
Juan, Beautiful Parisienne! I have my eyes on an all original 1986 Parisienne Brougham with 43k miles finished in Medium Blue Metallic with the rare turbine-style wheels. It has the Olds 307 4bbl in it (which was used in conjunction with the Chevy 305 for that year). How do you like yours? I have been told these are very reliable cars with the 307 or 305 and the 4 speed transmissions. Anything I should look for on this '86? Thanks, Jared
Thank you. I'd like to see the one your trying to pick up. One of the paint reps that comes to my shop has a mint gray 85 brougham that were working out a deal on
these cars resembled the Chevrolet caprice then as this guy in canada used to be Davidsfarm calls them the Cheviac as its resemblance to the chevrolet Caprice. as some are powered by either a GM 5.0 litre 305 small block Chevy with a 4 Barrel Rochester carburetor. or a 5.0 Litre 307 Oldsmobile engine with a Rochester 4 barrel Carb. as by now these cars have fallen under the collectable catagory for something to display in a car cruise. as i think it was up to 1986 the Parisienne was made as the later models have the high mount brake light on the rear deck another car that resembles this in its body style is the Oldsmoblie Delta 88. as its only strictly powered by a 307 Oldsmoblie engine. as then there the wagon models of this body style the Pontiac Safari, the caprice, and the Oldsmoblie custom Cruiser as all were powered by the 307 Oldsmobile engine up to 1990 and in 1991 they went to the rounded body style and a throttle body injected 5.7 litre 350 small block chevy engine in them till 1994. then they went to the LT1 350 engine. the sedan for 1991 was only two the chevrolet Caprice and the Buick Roadmaster they are powered by either a throttle body injected 305 or 350 small block chevy engines. and in 1994 they went to the LT1 engine as well before they faded out in the late 1990s the big GM full size car. my ex gf's mom had one of these i believe it was an 85 pontiac Parisienne goldish in color. for it to be a collectible i would leave it in stock form. as the guy in Canada Davidsfarm he beat the hell out of his bent the frame and its probally gone by now since he went to jail. some of these cars were destroyed when they did the CARS or Cash for Clunkers back in 09. for me i would like it but only for show use as now they are vintage cars. but still very few are on the road being driven by old people. as i like the ones that have the rear fender skirts it what makes these cars truely unique.
@@JayJay-rf2km just saw the cragars and vogue's, dont get me wrong, I have the original screw on hubs for winter, I'm in CHICAGO. PONTIAC IS ON POINT BRO , olds 307 right.
I love mid 80s GM cars currently own 4 of them and have owned many throughout the years. Are you a GM fan? If so, what years do you think are GM’s high point?

My gosh...look at this vehicle, beautiful in the day and still is today, these Pontiac's should be in a museum for future generations to appreciate.
