Had this 79 in a 2-door, blue with a white half vinyl top. Great riding and driving car. Same fake wood on dash and same velvet seats...those were the days of Big is Better. Wish I still had her!
The car I was brought home from the hospital in..... I have a great bond with this car. I currently drive a B Body Roadmaster. The closest thing I could find.
Not sure which I like more, this vintage Pontiac in glorious RED inside and out, or that mint-condition gold W220 Mercedes next door. I'll take both! XD
Nice one bro i have a 78 bonneville 2door with 403 76,000 original miles. I also have a brougham with that 400, sadly i got into a accident in that one, im on restoring the brougham or putting the 400 in another pontiac. Nice one bro, i will upload soon.
My mom had a white one with a burgundy top (very rare). Those bad boys were like friggin tanks. Loved that car. Sadly it was stolen from.my mother's job in the parking lot.
Man it looks like we have the same taste in cars I have one of these too but mines is a 77 and it’s yellowish beige do you still have your Grand Prix??? Nice ride btw!!!!
It's weird that a loaded Brougham has the cheapo steering wheel. Late 70's Bonnevilles usually came with upgraded steering wheel. This steering wheel design is a carry over from the '75s and '76s.
I had the exact car like 10 years ago and it was almost as immaculate as yours. I've always regretted selling it so if you happen to decide you wanna sell it, I'm very interested
TH200r4 is the same trans as the TH200 it just has overdrive. My little brother had a 2dr Bonn. Put alomost 400,000 miles on it 301 2bbl engine outlasted the rest of the car.
@@tomcherry7029 Sorry Tom. Many more up-grades to the R4, over the original 200. More than just the OD. I've rebuilt more than one TH200 with reverse blown out of them. Had a few R4s, in my life, (station wagons), with never a problem. And 400K on a 301? You should be commended.
@@joequillun7790 i have a degree in Automotive Service Technology, which i have had for over 35 years , one of my instructors was a master tech at GM for over 30 years before he started teaching , I had a 79 Regal with a 301 2bbl with a TH200 and put 473000 miles on it would still have it if my exwife didnt sell it and my 79 ta for 15.00 ea.

I heave the same with 301 cui V8, but colour Bombay Yellow, love this car ♥️
Yes. They did come with 8 tracks. They looked just like the AM FM stereos except they open where the radio indicator is and on the station pushbuttons the last one says eject so that's how you can tell. The radios all interchange since GM used the same wiring harness for like 40 years. Not like Ford who changed it every few years.

NO ONE built BIG cars in the 1970's better than GM.
Stunning car!

Are you in Kingwood WV? If so I work in Morgantown WV, and I live in Garrett county MD!
In Canada the Parisienne used a 350 cu engine not this 301 the 350 cu was bullet proof reliable.
The 301 was to I had a 79 just like this except be the yellow beige color never had an engine issue
😮😮😮😮
Wonder what it sold for. Beautiful DD. Needs the TH200 dumped and traded for a TH200R4 tho. Wish I had it.

Sorry but not a very good engine.
4.9 Liter is the Pontiac 301 cubic inch V-8, right?
I'm going to sell my parent's 1979 Bonneville, but I have no idea what to ask for it. Too old for Kelly Blue Book.
كيف احصل عليها؟؟
Is this vehicle still for sale?
does the 1979 or 1980 pontiac bonneville only come with a 8 track player? if so, is it possible to change it to a cassette player?
