Good fun watching you guys. I've played some really tough tracks, but never been over to the UK for that specific brand of beat down. Oddly, after watching this video I want to do it all the more!
It was great to meet you two in person at the YTGolfDay, it was nice to see you both smiling even when things were not quite going to plan. Keep up the great work and I hope you have enjoyed your visit to cold Lancashire & Merseyside.
Great video, and nice that you were able to play with a couple of nice guys … who turned out to be very understanding! Seriously, it was clear that you had a great time. That kind of wind is tough, as are all of the non-fairway areas. Willing to be that you'll do much better the next time … the links experience is a learning experience.
Its a tough course for your first links course ! Its an open qualifying venue. Its a different game on the links in the wind than your parkland hit it high courses. It might have been tough but I bet you'll be back. Blame Rick for getting you over here ! Come the summer when its dry and fast and your great shots run into rough or bunkers, that hurts just as bad as the wind blowing the ball into the rough.
37 from the rough. I just got new clubs and I am playing legit wedges these days.(only had P and S before) I would use my 54 deg Callaway PM. Hard shoot for me too!
Great video guys... dont be so hard on yourself you both did great considering your first links round. Links if you never played them or haver a dozen times are TOUGH!
You should come back in August and play Links golf when the grass is "Burrrrrrnt" to a straw yellow colour, the Ball runs out on the Fairways forever. The downside is that the Rough is up to your knees!!!!
Those conditions look tough!
Golfholics they certainly were. But it’s good prep for Scotland 😉.

Great video... Some say the head cover is still out there never to be found along with the 7 balls.

@@dinjaninja9210 LOL. At least in the UK there is nothing dangerous lurking in the undergrowth
6:24 is that a ball?
This was so awesome
Great prep for Scotland! Looks extremely difficult. Did you break 100?
Yes, I believe so ? LOL ... one of those days where we may have just picked up and moved on!
Golficity I have those days where I move on at triple lol
Great vid
Not all links courses are like this, some have very little rough at all but the wind along with humps and bumps make them tough
Where is your ts driver ?
Mike uses his yellow HZRDS shaft in the TS3
Mike hitting a driver looks like Kevin na
Wow looks like a tough track
She wasn't too friendly.
It is one of our local courses and is absolutely brutal in the really strong winds that it frequently gets. It is a handicap wrecker
Do you guys play for exercise if not why do you walk
Carter McCormick love the exercise. No carts anyway.
@@Golficity got ya
Carter McCormick I’ve played thousands of rounds of golf think I’ve been in a cart 3 times
